End the filibuster
Pass mandatory voter ID for all federal elections
Codify Trump's Executive Orders
Terminate the H1-B Visa Program in its entirety, they have 3 months to leave
Release any and all files on Epstein

These are all within the realm of being enacted within the next couple of weeks. These are good things for the country, it's what your base wants, it's what independents want, and is your best bet at keeping power in 2026 and 2028.

I'm not a doomer. I think Republicans can turn this around. I just hate the doomer faggots who think Republicans going total retard and accepting infinite government shutdown to own the libs is viable strategy to win elections.

The shutdown needs to end. If we can't kill the Filibuster to do it, then we need to get this over with by giving Dems some token gestures and get on with our lives. We see how the supreme court rules on tariffs, and then we go from there. If we get our re-districting maps in 26, we should clear house and be gold, but the thing worrying me right now is the tariffs being shot down by SCOTUS.

If that happens, and the government is still shut down, it's going to be a blood bath.

It needs to end but not by caving, otherwise it would have been less costly to cave at the start. I imagine the democrats will ease up on some of their demands, the republicans will cave on a few things, both sides will say how epic their wins were and how the evil other side is a massive loser, and then we will proceed with everyone moving on by January.
The main motivator for Congress right now is they want to go home for the holidays.

Little late to this but Id really like to respond to as its an area of expertise of mine

Id like to teach you all a little about the geography of California to help better explain the deep divide between the 2 political parties in this great state with terrible leadership.

The San Fransisco-Santa Clarita hyper cluster, also know as silicon valley (about dead center in the larger map to help orientate you)

And the bug hive of all bug hives, the roach warren that is Los Angeles (fairly far down south, ive included the channel islands so if you arent familiar with the area you can start to have a spacial understanding of where these citys exist.

The distance between San Fransisco and Los Angeles is 381 miles, that's almost twice the distance from Paris to London

This is known as the "Central Valley" and its where 1/4 of all the United states, fruits, nuts and vegetables despite making up less than 1% of the farmland

the people who live in this area, that being the Fresno, Merced, Tulare, Merced counties are the SALT OF THE DANG EARTH, I cant say enough good things about it. If you hate California but you haven't come out to Tulare and meet some Almond farmers you dont know who your hating.

There is over 100 degree temps in the summer and in winter it gets below freezing. People work very hard there from day up till day down and the only complaints you here are about the government. I know conservatism is in the minority because of how absurd our bughive situation is but its a LARGE majority if not by percentage by sheer numbers

The entire central valley and even small parts of the central coast are conservative majority's, thats what they are seeking to change. Sorry if ive been ranting about this when I could have just posted the district map but California means alot to me for all its failures. I think under the right leadership no place on earth could come close to replicating its potential.
