Nobody fucking cares. The American voter has a 2-week attention span and the Trump side knows it. There will be like 10 voters in existence who remember the shutdown and have any opinion on it at all by next year. This is a great opportunity to cut leftist glow nigger jobs and make blue states empty their wallets to fund their illegal SNAP/EBT plantation slaves.
You underestimate the amount of "not caring" that is about to be happening, but perhaps the Democrats do too. Trump has done as much as he can with the shutdown, and forcing blue states to pay out SNAP benefits isn't going to do anything in the long-run either except allow Democrats to use the fact, "We paid you your benefits when the evil Republican wouldn't!"

Independents and normies are starting to jump off, and I don't see Trump getting them back—especially if Trump loses the Tariff debate in SCOTUS. We're looking at a really fucked up situation here soon, and the nation quite literally can't afford to keep shutdown going any longer. Next week, you and I are going to start feeling the effects of this. You and I can stomach a little pain, but how about your cousin's wife? Or your colleagues at work?

This transcends optics at this point. Trump cannot afford to have a major economic crash tied to his presidency. If we get the hit now, and SCOTUS doesn't strike down 65, we lose our re-districting advantage and we lose 2026. Trump becomes a lame duck, and Democrats get to blame him for everything in 2028.

I honestly don’t fully understand what he means by this? Like is he encouraging people to waste fully spend money so that the tax payer will no doubt pay for it?
for the next 3 months he is not the mayor, works just like president. Elected in last part of one year, inaugurated the start of the next. As far as political strategy goes its pretty smart of him to use the massive boon of goodwill he has immediatly following his victory to make such a difficult ask

They need funding to make more or less a "shadow government" you need fill all the positions of staff, your commissars your deputy's those guys, and most of the GOOD ONES will have jobs right now, so to hit the ground running you need a war chest to be able to "hire", on paper, the good staff for when you are inaugurated, on day one you just get to work. Its largely what trump was able to do this last go around but he is independently wealth so its easier to do.

If you read about Trotsky and Hitler both you find that for all their failures this was something both of them did SUBLIMELY and allowed them to go from, not in power, to in power overnight yet have all the apparatus of a functional government ready to go, most historians will reduce this down to the shorthand of them being "excellent Organizers" witch vastly undersells the magnitude of the foresight required to successfully pull it off.

I doubt Mamdami has the chops to do it like they did but the fact he has the acumen to even attempt it shows he is more savvy than he looks, Id watch the first few days post inauguration VERY closly

The Dems' plan was always to wait it out since they have the media in their back pocket. Just keep repeating that everything is Trump's fault for long enough, and once people start feeling the effects, they'll jump to blaming who they've been subconsciously internalizing to blame for the past two months.

Does your wife's boyfriend care about what happens to you? Appealing to an extended social circle like this is pointless when most normal, well-rounded individuals understand that your first duty is to your immediate family.

RINOs: ‘Woops, looks like you didn’t vote for 60 of us in the Senate. Time to give everything Dems want so we don’t look like big meany heads and then complain about gay marriage.’

He is losing the right as well. His continued Israel worship and his failure to address immigration will hurt him bad. Ranting at clouds about how good the stock market is doing when you just got laid off and replaced by a street shitter isn't a good selling point. As seen by the elections people will at best not show and worst will vote hard in the other direction.

RINOs: ‘Woops, looks like you didn’t vote for 60 of us in the Senate. Time to give everything Dems want so we don’t look like big meany heads and then complain about gay marriage.’
Remember to vote for us or the democrats might have to pass bills themselves!!!!

"We can't overturn the filibuster, but we can go from the current vote being 55-45 to 40-60 in a matter of minutes."

GOP voters have 401ks and buy big fucking boxes of emergency supplies, we don't give a fuck. We're all fully aware that the Democrat party has given in to outright terrorism at this point to get what they want. There is absolutely no reason for the GOP to give into the nigger demands for $2T to fund illegal immigrants. GOP voters live in areas that actually grow food and manufacture things, if 100 million democrat welfare leeches in cities die it does nothing to our quality of life but enhance it.

The Handmaid's Tale was supposed to be "What if the 1979 Iranian Revolution occurred here in the US and we became a hardcore theocracy overnight?"
that novel is one of the earliest products of 'intersectional' feminism
if you want to tell a story about muhsoginy, there's no shortage of real world examples of societies that treat women as something in between a slave and an animal - but they just so happen to all be brown. that is a problem, because feminists are anti white leftists, so the idea of criticizing browns to them is like sunlight to a vampire.
atwoods solution to this? just race-swap the villains from brown persians to white americans, and swap their religion from islam to (quasi)christianity. this way we can have our desired "man bad" whinefest of a book, without denigrating our precious browns or offending islam in the process!
and women love this way of thinking so much that the book still remains relevant today, 40 years after initial publication

The fuck are you even talking about? People exist outside of your family. You don't have to care what they think or how well off they are, but you should really fucking care how they vote, because unfortunately we live in a nation of retards who will throw everything away based off gut instinct.

Look man, we can keep this shutdown going on forever, accomplish nothing as Democrats trounce us and ruin all our plans for 2026 and 2028. Or we can get back to winning.

I don’t give a shit about your poor, retarded relatives.

Notice that every time the Rs run a GOPe they lose hard?

It's not about caring for them. It's about getting people to vote and think our guy is doing a good job. You're living in a dream world if you unironically think every Republican out there is a prepper who's going to be able to weather this shit with no issues.

But fine, if you want to stand on government shutdown being a win for Republicans we'll see what things look like in 2026. Wanna make a bet?

Republican campaigning from this point on should be 100% hammering home how Democrats caused this, and are currently, letting this happen. Should be the only thing Republicans talk about 24/7 because the narrative on this needs to be changed.
Too bad, here's what's actually going to happen during the midterms:
  • Republican candidates will run on messaging that Democrats are the real antisemites
  • A double-digit number of Republican nominees will be anti-white jeets or turd world shitskins
  • At least one Republican nominee will be a tranny (don't worry, xe/xir/xem is "one of the good ones!")
  • At least one Republican nominee will call JD Vance and/or Tucker Carlson "covert Democrats" because they didn't immediately kowtow to Israel at the first sign of backlash
  • The midterms will be a referendum on Israel and Republicans will "lose with dignity" like they always do

What shit? People on EBT don’t vote Republican. They hand their ballot to a canvaser who checks off all the boxes next to D. Do you know why DC consistently votes Democrat? It’s because nearly all government workers are liberal shitheads.

Goddammit Fatpacks if you don’t stop radicalizing me I am going to commit serious crimes. Like opening mail not addressed to me. Is that the kind of chaos you want to unleash?

I dunno why these guys are seething about this take, it seems pretty reasonable.

Oh, once they get into the House/Senate impeachment begins

It depends on when the shutdown ends though, voter do not have that long of a memory.

That's a lie tho? A bunch of trumpers from red areas are definitely on EBT/SNAP
