Mayor Jacob Frey’s victory speech in Minneapolis emphasised Somali inter-tribal unity in the face of clan division.

He spoke for a minute in Somali before concluding by saying that Minneapolis belongs to Somalia.

I think that's a big part of why he's running for govonor, he was told to redeem himself by winning an election without the national support. It's why you don't even see his BFF Vance out there supporting him. He has to prove himself.

Not addressing the underlying issue is a mistake. @Catch The Rainbow is sort of right, israel has some of the shittest PR. they are attacking people for being concerned about the gaza/israel war, and they have some of the most disgusting fucking people out running their bloodthirsty mouths. In the Massachusetts SNAP case (Half the Country v. America), the judge has given the USDA until Saturday -- tomorrow -- to file a response to the plaintiffs' newest motion.

Kinda wild that this lib judge has still not just granted the demanded TRO, but maybe she actually learned a lesson when SCOTUS overruled her previously on the deportations and doesn't want to be humiliated again.
