I don't think so. It's arguable that this terrorist act was particularly motivated by misogyny, in the same way that homophobia contributed to the Orlando massacre. It's not arguable that Elon Musk is going to drop moon rocks on us. That's so exceptional I was surprised even Wu said it.

I sort of agree with the proposition that this attack was partly motivated by hatred for women, but to frame it in the terms John does is to miss the more specific issue. It's not "misogyny" in the way most pampered Western feminists think about it. It's misogyny in so far as radical Muslims despise how Western civilization treats women. It's not like there aren't female jihadis. I give you the White Widow:

I mean, it was an attack by ISIS who hates the way women act in western civilization, so yes, it was targeted at women in that way kinda sorta.

However, while Arianna Grande might be the kind of concert that attracts women, my gut tells me that The Eagles of Death Metal are not, and I don't remember anyone whipping out claims of misandry during the Paris bombings.
