And the guy i knew never had because he lived in fucking hell down there next to the border. It is hot there.
Well yeah if you live in the hottest place in the fucking world and never travel you will only see one thing. One of the few benefits of living in California is you get to see a variety of climates.

The niggas don't know what cold is. I had one come to Utah years ago. First time that nigger saw snow. He was freezing half to death. I was in short sleeves still and feeling fine. They really can't survive off their plot of crazy land that never snows, never rains, and is ran by a man that looks like Patrick Bateman.

They think snow is quaint until they have to shovel it. Then they learn what space savers are. Usually the hard way.
(Ex)Californian here, every word is true. California existing as a climatic zone essentially free of any weather has induced a sheltered and uninformed perception of the world, in more ways than just the weather.

I could write a book on how the steady, pleasant, and hazard free weather of so-cal has an effect on social trends

Zohran Mamdani is pretty much a male version of AOC, except he speaks more articulately and actually accomplished something even if it is towards the detriment to us New Yorkers.

Never interrupt your enemy here when making a mistake. Cuomo is pragmatic, Madami is a gay sheltered theater kid who’s idealistic.

Without a season of hardship, it makes people go crazy it seems. Because life is always good. You actually can just live outside if you want. Not like you'll freeze when the winter months come. Its why the homeless are a problem there.

Personally I’m a little sad silwa didn’t win atleast the more entertaining option for Democrat mayor won, I didn’t really give a shit about the other races crazy that they elected that kill the other guy and his kids guy tho. Anyways hopes this foements a fire under the ass of the republicans to make a decent push for the midterms instead of cope coasting on the election year wins.

NYC has been lost for years, maybe decades. Pretending it happened yesterday is the real copium.

People turning their backs on the situation are just escaping the "If dem cities succeed it hurts the right, if dem cities fail it also somehow hurts the right" mental trap.

Also, NYC isn't built to last. It's literally sinking into the river and we'll lose it eventually regardless of who governs. Best get used to it now.
Reminder that even during the Revolution NYC was a hotbed of loyalism.

Did anything happen with the Resist Fascism protest or was everyone focused on the doomposting?
