Most US gasoline comes from domestic sources, which isn't directly correlated with crude oil as US is light sweet. You are also posting a 7 year futures contract which doesn't correlate with current prices. Prices of US Gas is based off last month's oil costs, and so you are starting to see the winter blend supply shipping which is cheaper than summer blend production. Russia hasn't been a factor on US gasoline prices in awhile, if we import it comes from Canada or South America.

People have been flipping out about about all the Democrat wins last night acting like it's a huge Republicans loss, did these people forget that all of the elections last night were blue states? Did you really expect the republicans to win in blue states? Get real. Nothing has changed and it's actually an amazingly great thing that Zoran is the mayor of New York, boomercons acting like it's going to destroy the whole country are histrionic babies. The reality is that New York has been heading into the gutters for years now and they made their bed so they can sleep in it. Any effects of Zoran's mayoral run across the country are going to be positive effects of growth while New York loses everything. You should be celebrating that.

Republicans lost all their safe races in those blue states too. It's every bit as bad as the Dems say it was.

Amerifat proudly displaying their complete lack of knowledge on world history. This anti French sentiment came from their unwillingness to join in on the idiotic invasion of Iraq and really peaked at "freedom fries".

France is America's oldest allie. They mogged the British all throughout their history. They fought valianty in WW1 and despite getting rolled over in WW2 their resistance is famous. Their food is great and their desserts are even better. I have no idea where the stereotype of the snooty Frenchman came from because all the Frenchies I've met have been very kind people.
