That city never had any affect on my life outside reading entertaining stories coming from there as if its Florida. I'm not going to start pretending that it has any larger impact now.

A senator from NY has more of an effect on my life than a NYC mayor.

Elections during odd number years don’t get much turnout compared to midterms and the general election. My precinct only had one in person place open to vote. Unless you have a vested interest in local politics and issues, most people will skip it unless the ballot has something like mayor or governor on it.

My takeaway from tonight is that none of this is really representative of anything other than that D states are going to continue to D. If, for example, NJ flipped red, that would have been fucking insane. The opposite was basically expected. The last Republican Governor to win this state was Chris Christie and that was 12 years ago. NJ is a blue state. Same with Virginia and same with NYC.

This is not the implosion that some people think it is. In an off year (which is the midterms, this is not even that, this is the year after a presidential election where normies don't even bother looking to see which way the wind is blowing), the incumbent party is going to lose some seats. The opposition is far more mobilized (I was around for 2010).

I do think the right needs to get its shit together. When you have prominent members on the right experimenting with 'racial realism', it ends turns off the normies you need to win.

Nick Fuentes is a gross fuck (didn't Destiny drill him in the ass) and should slither back into whatever hole he sprang out of as soon as possible... I'm not saying he should be deplatformed, he just shouldn't be given any creedance and ignored.

When I'm sitting in a bar and talking politics, I shouldn't have to explain that my side doesn't support Hitler or celebrates Stalin's Birthday. I honestly believe that only a small minority of the right wants that. We should ignore and disavow the extremists in our own midst less they be used to define all of us.

So it seems, i find it incredibly hilarious too that despite stopping the war on gaza nobody really gave a shit and muslims are still sperging, whatever they discuss tomorrow the first thing they have to adress is that NOBODY GIVES A SHIT ABOUT ISRAEL or Palestine, not even the left, it gets tiresome watching the Right wing leaders figthing for who loves jews the most and never adress everything else, they should learn from Miller that is the only one making sense and saying shit people actually cares about, they will have better chances if they shut the fuck about the middle east for once and start cracking down on the Indian and illegals infiltration issue.

Oh and of course instead of losing their shit because one of their guys was doing hitler memes they should ignore it just like the left does with their people and instead promote them harder but this will require purging the cucks, is yet to be seen if they are capable of that.
