That's another thing. I don't think anyone else realizes how checked out of politics all the Republicans are. None of them are paying attention. All my staunch zealot friends who knew everything going on during the Trump election have phased back into normiehood of not watching the news once. Pretty much everyone checked out. I've tried to show these same people news stories and they just deny it's happening anymore because they're tired of hearing about politics. So yeah, the overall normie is absolutely at the wheel and spreading their butt cheeks. The notion that people whom legitimately want to kill them are now in office is completely lost on them.
Why I can't be as mad as my boomer dad about Mamdani winning. The guy's a sociopathic third worldist or w/e but he didn't spend the campaign talking about what he was afraid of or pretending to be a tough guy, he did the exact opposite. Most of his plans for the city are flat out not possible, but he stayed on it and was always optimistic. Things will get worse in NYC but no one will care.
Someone young who talks about H1b1s and housing crisis and doesn't really care for Israel would win bigly.
