I'm surprised there wasn't a thread on her before, honestly.

While Nigri is insufferable and only depends on her sexual attractiveness for her cosplays to be popular, her fanboys/girls are often more irritating.
Guys defend her bc muh hot waifu and anybody who insults her is a jealous ugly girl or gay!!

She's a well-known figure and drama queen in the cosplay community and many other 'famous' cosplayers find her irritating but wouldn't dare speak against her in fear of getting assfucked by her whiteknights.

If you wanna take the drama and 'sexy' aesthetic away, her cosplays are average to plain mediocre for someone of her 'level'. Her pics are less cosplay than it's 'Jessica Nigri dressed up as X character!'
She uses the same poses and garish raccoon-eye makeup for each and every character she cosplays and is visibly incapable to emote for the camera- Which, funnily enough, is something she should know how to do if she wants to go into professional modelling. Yes. Professional modeling. Jessica Nigri. In professional fashion-inclined modelling. When she can barely keep a job as a cosplay model for conventions like E3 and PAX(?)

What also isn't surprising is that she'll cosplay characters from games and shows she has never played or seen (or just enough to know who the character is) when they happen to be the trend. The most obvious examples of this are her Roadhog, Reinhardt, and Tracer (Overwatch) cosplays done in the past year.
Sexy Tracer is passable at best, Roadhog and Reinhardt, however...

Roadhog: the full mask is there for a reason and she couldn't even do that. Also who wants to reckon she only took the fattest, ugliest male character in OW bc she could be half naked in it?

That was her.

Anybody with minimal knowledge about breast cancer (and I mean minimal) knows that post-masectomy scars look like those Tumblr brats draw on their transboy uwu characters rather than an incision near the pit (called a transaxillary incision) which is usually the most obvious sign of breast enlargement surgery.

I always found Nigri to be more cringe worthy than a lolcow to laugh at. It's the lying and shady shit she does and other people defending it that's aggravating. She wouldn't get as much flack if she didn't lie about her plastic surgeries or her sponsorships or making her costumes. It's really dumb shit to lie about too.

It does seem that she's not being asked to guest at as many cons anymore. I heard she charges $10,000 for a guest appearance and why pay that when you can get someone who isn't as well known, probably actually makes their costumes, and for probably free or cheap.

I remember her being at a con I went to, once. I'll try not to powerlevel here, but she was kind of cringe from what I saw of her.
She had a booth, but I only saw her because she was a guest at a voice acting panel. Only guest at the panel in costume, not even a costume of one of the characters she voice acted. I understand she was at the con mainly as a cosplay guest, so she had to be in costume, but she walked on stage trying to make a big deal out of her outfit and show it off like she was a fashion model.
She also basically steam rolled over everyone at the panel, probably talked twice as much as the other guests up there combined and had to make herself center of attention the entire time.
 
She did the same at the panel I saw her at. Anytime one of the other panelists had the audience attention or a laugh from the audience, Jessica had to make it all about her by either interrupting or making some obnoxious noise and face trying to be funny. It was soooo irritating

Honestly, I think her boyfriend is more of a lolcow. He chimped out for a long time to get verified on instagram. He didn't want to date Nigri initially because according to him she isn't very hygienic, but I guess Nigri's steady cash roll was enough to nail him down. He also picks fights with people frequently enough if he doesn't like their comments. Like, your girlfriend when you didn't even want to date markets herself as a spank bank, you don't need to let your beta show.

That was probably the worst thing about her. While all the other panelists were genuinely funny and made a lot of great jokes, Jessica would either try to piggyback off the joke and kill it or just make weird noises to try and get laughs.
And thinking back on it, her outfit was definitely a commission. It didn't fit her right at all so either she doesn't know her own size or it was made by someone else who couldn't model it on her and adjust it as needed. Also her wig made her head look super small.

She doesn't make her own costumes. There's no way she has a new costume every week without help. She has a little group of slaves that make everything for her and she bankrolls it with those titties. She's not respected in cosplay circles for that reason. We all know she's fake as hell.
 
Isn't it late, for her to have a thread? Is she still relevant to nerds? Or is this here for ARCHIVE reasons? She kinda reminds me of Alice Cooper.
 
I was a fan of Nigri for a while, but the slimy as fuck attempts to claim credit for her costumes when she clearly didn't make them was what did it for me.

What most of the cosplay community gets up in arms about is professional honesty. Sure, Nigri is a popular cosplayer but everyone knows she doesn't make her costumes and she bullshits her fans about everything.

An interesting phenomenon I've noticed when she runs into cosplayers with higher quality costumes, even if they're not in costume, is that the hijack she pulls when in a panel will get ramped up. Unfortunately, all my images are from the part of reddit that thinks Imgur doesn't downscale photos, so I apologize in advance.

You'll notice how the other two are just smiling for the camera with no obvious intent to hog attention. Not so much Nigri.
 
The girl in the pic you posted above (Monika) is no longer friends with Nigri due to the fact that Nigri didn't give her credit for the costumes made by her.
 
Pretty sure that when she isn't dressed in something by a game company to advertise or dressed in something she commissioned from someone else, she's wearing something made by her boyfriend. It's laughable to say that she has any level of skill when she doesn't lift a finger other than cake herself in makeup.
 
Man that's rough having late 30s wrinkles and not even be 30 yet.

Also why don't people just admit to having boob jobs these days? They never look real unless you went from an AA to an A or something and it's not anything scandalous anymore.
