I wasnt aware how much damage this literal gay nigger caused to 4chan and alt chans (and now the shiwi), it kinda made me feel bad about jannies now if this is what they were dealing with in a daily basis, quite disheartening nothing can exist because some degenerate retard tranny with seemingly infinity money through welfare can just nuke sites they dont like out of boredom, they are somehow worse than big corporations. Hope something is done about him, im glad i registered when i did.
 
I literally just managed to sign up today after attempting in October, having been unable to due to the ongoing attacks, for a very... unique reason, of which I have emailed you about.

I understand however if there is a delay or disinterest due to the current attacks going on, and hope you might be able to find a solution soon. Please do not feel pressured to rush to respond, as I completely understand this is a far more serious matter.

Mr. Poon, some Matrix homeservers had a similar attack vector back when I used that, and it was historically a problem for MUDs and MOOs. Thankfully the latter are easy to lock down because of the next reason.

The primary damage they do is with media uploads, so you need a probationary system that stops new accounts from uploading media for x amount of time or until they've made y posts. This could be circumvented by drip-registering accounts and then you're playing whack-a-mole forever on isolated accounts uploading CP the moment they have a chance. Probably not the best solution.

You can alternatively do what at least one MUCK started doing, which is having petition for an account which is to be manually approved. This would let you catch huge registration waves before they're able to do any damage. Maybe crowdsource this somehow? Perhaps to people who have made approved cow OPs or otherwise contributed much? The people who do the heavy lifting for their favourite fruit farm could definitely accept some ballwashing.

Obviously you have the problem of public registration links too. You are too lenient with how often they're given out/how they're accepted if this behavior is still an issue. Someone Who Isn't Me understands that private torrent trackers give out a number of invites dependent on your status in the community and they have to be emailed directly, rather than being a created link that can be publicly posted. SWIM also understands trackers trace who makes invites and the accounts created as a result of a given invite, so anyone complicit in their abuse gets banned or otherwise unable to make them pretty fast.

Something Awful-ification of accounts isn't necessarily a bad thing though now that the de-banking is being worked around, just have to careful with the fart-boxing.
