What is going on with the courts is already Democrat tyranny. They are abusing their power to suppress the maga agenda and force a progressive one. The only reason why Trump is able to fight and win is because he was prepared this time after getting completely gimped by it his first term. Even playing by the rules they are still trying to paint him as a dictator by challenging EVERY THING HE DOES regardless if he is in the right and following the constitution. If we get a future GoP president who is unprepared for how hard the courts will push back or unwilling to take the heat Trump is getting right now because they are worried about relection then it is over. There needs to be a purge of activist judges and changes need to be made to curtail judicial power because this will become the new norm for GoP presidents otherwise.
Pretty much. Every time a faggot judge does this game and there are zero consequences, it cements how easy it is to delay any sort of MAGA initiative. Your political opponent will never have to deal with that and even if republicans do the same trick, they will be ignored, because newsflash, rules for thee and not for me is the democrat mantra. Or did people already forget Joe ignored the supreme court a couple of times when he was doing the student debt dance?
A lot of people in this thread need to log off for a while and witness the actual state of the world around them first hand. It's easy to be drawn into despair when you're assaulted by a seemingly endless torrent of stories online about how the nation is on the brink of civil war. Do I sometimes wish that the Trump administration would just get the job done, consequences be damned? Sure, but I also realize that those consequences could have disastrous effects for the future of this nation and it's people.
Would they though? Because I assure you the next time democrats get power, they will be absolutely rabid. Can you ensure that the next 16 years will be continuous MAGA with people with strong convictions?
Things go well till they stop going well. Momentum is all Trump's now, but you don't know if that will be there even as soon as the midterms. There are things you can do while you have momentum lile telling activist judges to fuck off that won't work once you lost it. Caring about "optics" and following "the rules" means dick when your opponent is immune to both.
In my country the judicial power has officially been killed, made a puppet of the goverment, I'm officially in a soft dictatorship because my polititians are all faggots without a single spine to be had among all of them (and even if there sre good ones, they are choked by the parlamentary system) or outright evil.
So I understand where
@Useful_Mistake 's spergout is coming from. I'm not as pessimistic mind you, but you people in the US were much closer to the chasm that all Europe is falling into that you think and you need to push hard as fuck if you expect it to stick and not be reverted in a few years.
