Two of the three examples you provided don't actually involve "going outside". Just watching movies and playing vidya really? Watching sports? Maybe get some friends together and shoot some hoops or some shit. Find something else to do that's not passively watching something or playing vidya for God's sake.
This is incoherent to the point, which is that many, many facets of our society are worse than they were 10-15 years ago. I could pick any number of hobbies and you'll find them insufficient for your criteria. But let me accept your terms momentarily. I'll put it into EBT-American, so you can understand.
The asphalt of my court is cracked and uneven. There are no nets, and the backboard has wood-rot and has splinters sticking out which if we're particularly unlucky, pop the ball. The edges of the court are lined with refuse and paraphernalia. That's not mentioning the graffiti, and the homeless who gather around. Any attempts to address the issue either suffer from the tragedy of the commons (who's going to pay to re-pave a public court?), or are actively worked against by forces unknown (any attempts to re-net the hoops result in the nets being torn or missing by the next week).
That's the state of my personal basketball court. It might be your tennis court, your hiking trail, your baseball diamond, your theatre, your local card shop, your library, your writing club, your local gastronomies so on and so forth.
But if you're affluent enough or connected enough (there's no small likelihood that the average farmer probably doesn't have the largest social circle), sure, I can just "shoot hoops with some friends" and stick my head in the sand about the state of civilization decay we find ourselves in. The only way any of this gets better is if we acknowledge that shit's fucked and try to live with it and fix it.
EDIT: And there's this weird troon who always wants to "play", but they constantly cheat and lie and whine and freak out if you do well against them or get physical in any sort of way, driving away some of our other players.
