She did immediately return to spamming political take graphics (mostly about Trump, but including the current Venezuela boat assaults), however

Polissa begins by setting the record that despite being a paranormally sensitive person, she is not the Ghost Whisperer and will not talk to the dead people she often feels around her (if she even has the ability). Due to this sensitivity, however, she has had some weird encounters. This is one of the more memorable ones.
About a decade ago, Polissa, Josh, her mother, and a couple other people drove out of town to a drive in theater that has since went out of business. After droning about how awesome and cheap the establishment was even when you didn't sneak food in, she notes that there was a playground on site in front of the screen for children to play on when movies weren't playing.
This drive in, like many, played double features: a more family friendly film earlier in the evening, and then a more adult or action oriented one after the families left (or forced their kids to nap in the back). It was during the intermission and after admiring the super moon in the cool August sky that Polissa turned to look at the vacant playground. To her surprise, one of the swings suddenly began swinging on its own. It was definitely not due to the wind-- there was none whatsoever. It also swung as if an invisible child swayed on it. A second swing joined it, only at a different pace.
She pointed this out to her mother, who was sitting next to her in a lawnchair in front of their car. Both felt overwhelming sadness watching these dead invisible children spending eternity swinging on a playground. They think about that experience often to this day.

How can people want to escape the real, serious issues like an imminent $8 billion void in the American economy? Only the average layperson will feel it while corporations and Republicans fuck off and leave the Democrats twiddling their thumbs at the Capitol. Healthcare premiums and rates are going to skyrocket in a medical system that is designed to make people sick. She should know- she's been on disability for over 15 years, yet can't even qualify for food stamps. Even then, she will still have to pay more money to make up for rising grocery prices because SNAP is going to go bye bye if the Republicans have their way. It must be deliberate that there were all these layoffs before the shutdown, the latter of which happened it's too late in the year to grow crops for food in home gardens. The homeless will also be declared illegals and rounded up, and people will steal to eat since they can't even afford hunting licenses.

Pissa, regardless, has had a lot of interesting stuff happen, at least in comparison to Luna Slater.
Wonder how she thinks shes going to afford her dream beach house? Her upcoming Tik Tok artist career? Banking on them Meemaw/Robin bucks when they die? The lottery?
My personal favorite headcanon, is that she's not mentioning Joh (as Clotso Coof points out), because shes banking on a Sugar Daddy to pick her up. Cant wait for own Salah-Kuwait arc.

Pork butts. No I'm not allowing the peanuts or the popcorn shrimp that's 80% breading.
No wonder Pissa is so tired and grumpy all the time and lives off of shit foods that make her fat.
Fruit is delicious, but those two bags of frozen fruit are $7/bag. The cosmic crisp apples are $4.20/2lb bag.
So in fruit alone that's about $22, but in this week's ad you can see a listing for gala apples at $2/3lbs.
She made a good call on the pork loin, since it's only $2/lb, but if she just changed apples she could afford a whole extra butt.
Now, if they have a blender, and they can save up the $20, she could get herself some protein powder, that would be great! All she'd need to do is add it to her frozen fruits and that's 30g/protein out of basically nowhere!

So cosmic crisp is an American apple type I've never tried, but since it's partly based on honey crisp I'm gonna assume it tastes kind of like that (very sweet and crispy, kind of fake). Gala apples are even disliked by some people who are really into apples. They're not an equivalent, especially for people like Pissa. I personally like them better and think that people who only eat types like honey crisp are fake apple enjoyers!. There seems to be a specific set of fruits/vegetables that all fat/unhealthy people buy whenever they're forced to eat something other than slop.
Even though she didn't post a receipt, I'm just so incredibly happy she once again blessed us with the contents of her shopping cart! (And I even got to sperg about apples!)

So cosmic crisp is an American apple type I've never tried, but since it's partly based on honey crisp I'm gonna assume it tastes kind of like that (very sweet and crispy, kind of fake). Gala apples are even disliked by some people who are really into apples. They're not an equivalent, especially for people like Pissa. Aldi (at least around here) doesn't have name brands. It's all generic/budget stuff, that's why it's cheaper. That's probably why you didn't see any breakfast bowls in her cart. Aldi does carry them, but they're not Jimmy Dean, so they're not good enough for Pissa, even though in my experience the Aldi brands (of anything) aren't different than the brand name stuff.
