I'm seeing FitGirl and Dodi repacks so it appears to be cracked.
I think it's safe to say it's gonna be left to rot with the main creatives behind it gone and no announcement of Capcom's usual Special Edition aka re-release with an expansion.
After DD2 released and was meh they cranked the price of DDDA back up on Steam and GoG.

Personally I'm still just playing DDDA and pretending 2 doesn't exist.
It seems that the fitgirl version is just the dev-leak with many, many bugs.

I just want to know if its worth the £55 on Steam (no game is)before I buy it. Maybe Ill snag it at £9.99 in 2029.

Putting the price of products UP after they had dropped it and doing so for 10+ year old software should be straight up illegal. It's disgusting.

why would you give money to nu-crapcom? especially after they fucked DD2 because they wanted MH to shine?

While I always sail the high seas for games, I do so because it's the best way to play. But if DD2 isn't properly cracked, then the only way to play is to pay. I sure as shit won't be paying more than £10 after reading this thread though.

Could always look into Dogma Online if you haven't already. Fans have brought it back/been keeping it going for a while now.

Forgive me for the dumb question but do I have to play it online, or can I play it offline? I know DD online was online, but I don't know if they've modded it to be played offline.

There was leaked DLC called like "tower of the dragon princess" or some shit like that that was probably intended to be this game's Bitterblack Isle.

It's probably been quietly canceled.
I don't think there was ever a plan for DLC. With how long it took to get a "sequel", it being utterly gutted and basically less of a game than its predecessor a decade earlier, and Itsuno fucking off after release. Don't know if it was some kind of contractual obligation between him and Capcom that the game got made at all.

The moment the bullshit with the vocations got revealed, something was up. Quite obviously a sign of cut corners/ rushed development etc.

Capcom routinely reminds everyone they hold on to great franchises they don't know what to do with or how to manage, even Monster Hunter, which they decided "yea.. the STORY is what people care about, the STORY and the GRAPHICS/Wildlife! THATS the draw, not the autismo animal part hunting!"

same with Dragons Dogma 2, a game I only dreamed would come out, oh your telling me they might release a sequel that gets to be fully released and realizes all the concepts the first had but now has more tech and stuff to make possible? oh I WISH.
and then of course it comes out and is probably 60% of the first game, a game famous for being half finished as it was.

At least they buried Megaman, we don't have to see is malformation like this shit, giving us some hyper story focused with 15 hours of cutscenes Megaman game where its in RE Engine and tries to have 40 actors rendered at all times so a supercomputer chugs running it.

Sometimes.. Sometimes Dead is Better.

I still don't understand why 99% of all enemies are goblins and harpies. It would have been the easiest shit in the world to take 5-7 of the BBI exclusive enemies from the first game and add them to the overworld for varieties sake.

Pretty sure, I haven't played it nor have I looked into it in a while, it's "offline" only. I think.

They offered him DMC5 or Dogma 2, and he wanted to finish DMC5 before he called it quits. And I think they let him do Dogma 2 because he was autistic about asking for it and because DMC5 did pretty well. So it was a concession to a long time employee who was on his way out and had a recent success. That's how I see it all.
To be fair the ecology has always been a big part of monster hunter. The execution of bringing into the gameplay was iffy though.

BBI really didn't have many exclusive enemies though. Most were literally reskins of base game mobs. The not-minotaurs(Elminators?), the living armors, Death, Garm, and Daemon are the only truly unique enemies in the DLC I can recall. Maybe the Leapworms too?

Still no DLC though.

If I were Capcom I'd maybe try and come out with some bitter black equivalent, possibly add in a new class or two, and then just hope 3rd times the charm with DD3: The Dogma-ing.

I'll say it till I die. Itsuno got ahead of himself again and it fucked the game beyond repair so they had to cut a massive chunk of game. Only this time instead of getting too lofty with the size of the world and scope of the story, the retard was trying to cram in co-op(with matchmaking so some kind of PvP I guess. Maybe that was supposed to play into the "false" arisen running around. Who knows.) with a boss rush on the side. Bonus points for having to make the shit work on an engine designed for an entirely different series, so at least he doesn't shoulder all the blame.

It's even more frustrating than it was with the first game because there might be even more things that make me want to pick a direction and get lost in DD2, but none of its worth seeing or taking the time to find.

I haven't tried Dogma 2.

Give it to me straight, is it really that bad compared to 1?
