I just find it funny these anime pfp people got mad at some actually good advice. So what if she's a hoe online, she's right about not letting people take advantage of you. The problem Vtubers have is that they make money by supplying fantasy fuel to men with distinctly and definitively unhealthy sexual and romantic fantasties. These men are usually either socially defective or even unstable.

They want a little girl that's also their mommy and will give them the attention and positive interactions they want.

Anyone that enters the vtuber ecosystem and says something like "be careful of men at these meetups" they WILL get defensive. They know they come off as creepy and women being uncomfortable with them is probably the default. Getting that reaction or perceived reaction at their "safe space" would be extremely upsetting.

It's easy to get annoyed at certain women who purposely hang around the obvious "more likely to be weird of harass you" men and then extrapolate that to very obviously normal men. it's even easier to be mad at whores and Vtubers who facilitate those fantasies who then turn around without irony and say "wow, men suck" like no shit lady, you make your money making creeps feel like they have a girlfriend. Did you think you were hanging around men that would make you feel not creeped out? you're going to a convention full of Gators not Ryan Gosling or Frank from the hardware store.

If you're going to knowingly sell yourself as a "cute" entertainer to pedophiles/lolicons you gotta commit and pretend nothing is wrong and there's no danger from them. part of the appeal is that you're a real woman that ISN'T rightfully disgusted by them. You can call them stinky in a little girl voice and make shower encouragement videos but you can't call them pedophiles or groomers.

For example, Shiori. Some Niggers got angry at her for daring do a collab with one of the Holostars guys (theyre the male branch of Hololive). She told them straight up "I do not care about you. I said it before. I do what I wish, not what you want me to do. If you aren't okay with that, then get lost" and started to block spergs who kept demanding that she doesnt collab with him anymore (she even collabed with him AGAIN to piss them off specifically). Of course, she is a remnant of Natsumi Moe who did a short 5 minute video about Chris Chan (ill link that when i can). But still.

If Ellie had been in that situation? She would have bent to her pedo fans and go all about how "uwu guys. I promise you that this cunny isnt for that guy! Trust meee!" While she proceeds to pull off that faggy voice.

Its a stark contrast between degenerate vtubers and vtubers who actually have talent and humor.
