A woman going by the username KolkoCat makes a review comparing the Hetalia sub to its English dub counterpart. Since Hetalia was popular in the mid-2010s amongst western high-school girls, the comments are full of references to trooning ‘n’ pooning.

Basically, these comments demonstrate the fujoshi-to-pooner pipeline with zero self-awareness.

Why is a grown man talking about the sexuality of teenaged girls? Maybe it’s his way of coping with fujoshi “glomping”, but this seems more like an invitation than morbid humour. I suppose it matters (A) if he actually said this, (B) when he said it (2025ish or 2015), etc. For all we know, they are misremembering or lying. I haven’t seen the panel - the poster doesn’t give a name or year, and there may be no recording of it available. I do not want to cast dispersion onto someone without adequate research. I’m just saying it’s weird that this poster sees this as funny regardless of the factuality of their statement.

Setting anime degeneracy aside for a moment, these women are admitting it’s a social contagion that appears in clusters. They say things like that they’re “gay and trans” when what they mean is “neurotic and boring heterosexual”. It’s all so transparent and that’s what makes it so cringy. I would not be surprised if, while reading this, some chick you knew in high school appeared in your mind’s eye. That’s how stereotypical they are.

Finally, I checked the profiles of the two posters - VincentWhite and Ript1d3_DraGOn who (basically) outed themselves as FTMs. They’re both furries because of course they are. Vincent has furry playlists on their profile, and Riptide (I’m not doing their stupid spelling again) has a furry avatar and everything.

And, as a cherry on top, Riptide has both BlueSky and DeviantArt profiles. On their BlueSky account, they list their pronouns as “he/they/it”, which totally proves my assumption that she was an FTM correct. She also implies that she runs a NSFW account by saying that the profile I archived is the SFW one. I really hope that means “explicit art” and not nudes. Their DeviantArt username is “EdgyAnimeDragon”, so, tch, nothing personnel, kid, but maybe I was wrong. Maybe they do have a modicum of self-awareness.

TLDR: The comments of a Hetalia video demonstrate that FTMs are fujoshi furries with BlueSky accounts, are nothing like men, and very obviously a specific type of geeky woman.

That's a great point. I don't see the autogynephilia cross dressers in other cultures like we do here. I agree with the person you're replying to as well.
