At the risk of angering the hive, I think many of you are downplaying the seriousness of not covering food stamps. It's not all worthless bums on government assistance, some people really need that to help themselves get out of a rut. Even Trump knows better than to antagonize tens of millions of people who are at risk of being cut off from food. Those are "riot in every major city" numbers.

I cant overstress this enough, you people are fighting GHOSTS trying to come at Walmart but do you eve know why you are? I know they have developed a reputaion for being the "lower classes" store but let me tell you a little about Walmart

Walmart has a "Global Operations Center" in Brentonville, AK. From there they have a souped up version of waffle houses disaster relief team (IYKYK). Walmart has a policy that goes from the very top down that if there is a crisis somewhere, lets say a hurricane, not only will they not price gouge (its illegal but many do anyway in crisis) but they have logistics teams READY TO GO sending as much building supplies and other relief to the areas as possible.

When the fires were going on here in cali the people at walmart brought out PALLETS of water for the poor fuckers just escaping inferno conditions. They just put the pallets out in the parking lot and let people have at them, nominally they should have been payed for but the staff was more focused on getting temporary structures up in the parking lot from the stock of camping supplies.

Im realizing now I might be biased but watching those old fuckers they hire to be greeters setting up tents for people who had their entire life possessions in a Flyer red wagon just did something to me. Maybe its just human nature to help others when the chips are down bad like that (if you werent there you cant understand how CRAZY the sky and everything looked, a more sane man than me would have thought there was absolutely no stopping such a primal force.)

I realize this isent world changing or anything but who else is doing this? You can say they are doing it for good press but they dont make a big deal about this at all.

Sorry, I have no connection with Nogs, People Who Think It's Alright to Marry 13 Year Olds, or Street Shitters.

Too late. If they were going to pay out food stamps, they would have gotten funding three weeks ago. Even if the government reopens tomorrow, there won’t be enough time to set the accounts right.

For the people who are saying "but there are people who really need food stamps, not just leeching browns" are there not food pantries in your area? Pretty much all the churches around me have food pantries anyone can stop in at any time to get food, food kitchens that offer free meals, and multiple different local charities that offer food to those in need.
It's not all big daddy government that serve these needs, at least not here. And the people who actually need these services are smart enough to know how to find them if there's a lapse.

lib opinion: environmental protection laws and regulation are generally good to have. not the climate hysteria type, but the "don't put industrial wastewater into random lakes and rivers" kind

I hate to tell you but they are the same species as you. IDK did you think life was just going to be easy and you wouldent have to combat feelings of universal hate because of a few deplorable people?
