Norton, 88, was duped by multiple suspects Thursday who went to her Washington, DC, home claiming to be HVAC workers, according to an internal police report obtained by
NBC News4.
The swindlers charged $4,362 to the
Democratic congresswoman’s credit card without performing any work.
If that’s how easily she is parted from her own money, imagine how easily she would be parted from American taxpayers.
Norton’s “caretaker/power of attorney was not at residence” at the time the group showed up, which was just after 3:30 p.m., the report states, noting that it was Norton’s “caretaker” who called DC police after noticing the unscheduled arrival at the congresswoman’s home.
You can see why she needs a caretaker. According to the police report, the 88-year-old Democrat suffers from dementia.
Sounds familiar?
The congresswoman is described as being “unable to function independently,” leaning on aides, close friends and family members for help, the [New York Times] reported, noting that she rarely attends House Oversight Committee meetings and appears at times not to recognize people she has known for years.
And yet:
Norton (D-DC)
told Axios last month that she has no plans to leave Congress despite the mounting concerns about her mental acuity.
“Of course,” she responded, when asked if she was running for re-election.
Anyone doubt she will win in DC?

Norton introduced a bill Tuesday that would require car crash test dummies to use both male and female models.
Norton’s interest in dummies is
perhaps understandable.
“Women have achieved equality on the road when it comes to driving, but when it comes to safety testing to keep them safe on the road, they are nowhere near achieving equality,” Norton said in a statement.
True enough, the typical dummy was modeled off a normal American man in the 1970s, who was 26 pounds lighter than now but still slightly heavier than today’s average woman. Weight is of course distributed differently between both sexes. However, these days
it is regarded as transphobic (and criminal) to acknowledge biological differences between male and female. Good thing Norton has intersexual qualifications that make her immune from cancellation.
Crash test dummies are often white,
revealing racism as well as sexism.
Even Democrat politicians have the potential to make themselves useful to humanity; thus, Norton is encouraged to mitigate inequality by making her way to Detroit to volunteer her services as a crash test dummy. She already has the per-requisite qualifications for such:

Of note is that Norton previously served as
Chair of the House Highways and Transit Subcommittee and
aspired upward when Democrats still controlled congress in 2022.
She certainly demonstrates the “To hell with you peasants” attitude necessary to take part in the
upper echelons of the denerate shitlib elite class, as this bit from another 2022 story showed:

If Norton’s measure passes, taxpayers not only would be on the hook for illegal immigrants’ shelter, food, and medical care after crossing the border, followed by transportation to their favored U.S. destination. Taxpayers also would be shelling out for housing and feeding the migrants once they arrived. This would be the ultimate (socialist) red carpet.
Overall, it's a good thing she can’t vote on the final passage of bills. Unfortunately, the moment Democrats have the leverage to push it through, they will make the District of Columbia a state, as
supported by Joe Biden. Norton will become a regular congressmember, and two more of similar quality will be senators.
