I'm still floored by Russell telling Judge Bennett, "Sorry I failed to show cause by the due date, I thought going over your head to the district Judge to undo your sanctions AGAIN counted as that since I didn't even read your order because three things in a day is so many! So, like, can you do me a favour and give me a retroactive extension to let me ask you to do me another favour and say I never had to provide the document, or give me 30 MORE DAYS TO GET IT AGAIN!!!"

It's not a huge distinction, but it wasn't even 3 things in 1 day; it was 3 over 2 days. He's arguing that he can't parse 2 orders in the same day if he's had another order the day before/after. The court will agree to this as it makes perfect sense. Could you imagine? Reading two things an entire day after having read one thing? Legally impossible.

Also essentially useless if Greer has to figure out how to subpoena an ISP to identify you.

Although Null would never give it to Greer unless required to do so and likely only after fighting against it every step of the way, it would be incredibly entertaining to watch Russ catch hold of the car on this one.

There is one thing (well, maybe two things, but he's not going to hang himself) that Russ could do that would very likely solve his current issues, but he will never do it. Even if it were spelled out in this post explicitly, he still wouldn't do it because he's as pig-headed as he is shit-lipped. It's surprising that he hasn't already done it, but then again he wouldn't be the lolcow that he is if such a thought weren't dismissed immediately if it ever occurred to him at all.

If Greee can't handle 3 items over 2 days, then he would have had no hope of ever sustaining a career as a paralegal, even if he wasn't at risk of bringing his employer into disrepute with his frivolous lawsuits against Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.

So, he's trying to make a contributory infringement case, where no direct infringement has ever been alleged or proven? If no direct infringement has been alleged or proven, how can anyone contribute to it?
I know we all know, but as we get bogged down in the minutiae of the law it's always good to remember: this case was never about copyright. It was only ever about Null refusing to remove Greeee's thread (I guess now it's threads, plural. Does this count as another Greer thread?)

By the time Greee successfully subpoenas an ISP, we'll all be on IPv6 colonizing Mars.
Has he ever subpoenaed anyone? I don't even mean attempting or perfecting service, just getting as far as creating the documentation?
Given his outrage over Hardin even daring to begin to depose Greer's witnesses, I'd love to know what he thinks a subpoena actually is.
Can you subpoena a ho to suck you your penis?

He got the clerk in THIS case to issue a subpoena to Josh back in June -- in violation of the stay of discovery. In fact, that very subpoena is the origin of the "Greee" joke: He spelled his own name wrong. (The clerk voided it, and Hardin moved for sanctions, a motion which remains open and unruled-upon to this day.) 🙄

In other news, Barlow and Bennett both have hearings scheduled for this coming week, so we know they're working.

I’m still shocked that Greer reset this case back to the start by introducing new defendants. After the sanctions are sorted out we can maybe see Greer try to serve these two usernames. This ride never ends.
I'm still hilariously ass-blasted that the above has yet to even come into play. After all the shit currently in the air is resolved, we still get to start the dance again.

5 years on, with an appellate decision, an appeal to the Supreme Court, a transfer to a different district, a transfer back from that district and the case still has not properly started.
Hundreds of years into the future, after humanity has conquered the solar system, Greer v. Moon will be bouncing between jurisdictions on Earth and Mars, still not properly starting even after multiple appeals to the High Court, God Emperor Chuck-E-Cheese, and Great Cthulhu.

Can't wait for Google+, a website to get wrapped up as a defendant in this.

Wake me up when he starts phrasing movie titles at Hardin and Null in a threatening manner.
What's the matter Null, afraid of the Scent of a Woman so much that you won't meet me in open court?
I am sick of Hardin playing Devil's Advocate with my relationship with deadlines.
When I finally have my day in court and Null is sentenced to death for allowing Google to infringe my copyright, there will finally be Peace And Justice for all.

Why are these two dudes just dragging their feet about Greer? Are they just conferring about how to give the gimp a win and not make it look like another total miscarriage of justice? Are they cobbling together the legal version of a Goldberg machine?
