I'm glad to see somebody else appreciates Halloween 3.
They really should have stuck to the original plan and kept Halloween an anthology series with each movie being its own contained story that takes place on Halloween. It was such a good idea, they could have released a new one every year for Halloween and cleaned up every time.
Based, as much as I love Hammer Horror and Christopher Lee as Dracula, the '31 version is my favorite.

I love carving pumpkins and usually start planning pretty early, my neighborhood doesn't get a lot of trick or treaters though so I'm decorating more for the raccoons than visitors. They're missing out because last year I gave out Pokemon cards as well as candy. (To the kids, not the raccoons)

I want to go hard decorating at work because we're a pretty small, kid- friendly shop and it would be fun.
You know what? I think i'll get a bunch of pumpkins that my guests can carve and take home as well. That would be fun.

People who complain about B&W and silent films are autistic as all hell, those films are fascinating works of art in their own right so who cares if they're not obnoxiously loud flashy and fast paced like modern garbage? The cabinet of Dr Caligari and The 1925 Phantom of the opera great watches too if you haven't seen them yet.

They definitely boxed themselves in by making two Michael Myers films back-to-back. On the other hand, The Exorcist told a different story in the sequels and didn't really do well at all though.

Baked pumpkin seeds are a great snack, I make them whenever I carve the pumpkins. Good way to use up some of the waste from carving since most carving pumpkins aren't usable for pies.

Okay gang what are your plans for this most metal of holidays? Monster movie marathon? Decorating the house?

I've put up extra skeletons around the home, also I put some on my hats
running various spoopy music for daily background noise more

the big night either hanging out with the in-laws or staying home and hanging out with my online crew as a buddy runs horror movies
still need to check with my apartment complex about how much trick-or-treating to expect

I need a costume for a bald guy with a goatee. Think Heisenberg from Breaking Bad, but I don't want to be Heisenberg. Also I went as Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell last year but no one knew who I was, despite having a boxing robe that said fucking Iceman on it.

PUNKIN' IS CARVED!
I've unintentionally channeled this year's Halloween avatar, the light is just a cheap one I got at Spirit Halloween a few years ago. I like the warmer flicker of an actual candle but the steady flash looks good in certain places.

I bought a cheap LED light display for the yard also, I live about halfway down a street with a lot of vacation homes (so no one is home and the lights are off) so we don't get a lot of people bothering to come down the street. I'm hoping that better lighting/visability will bring kids by. I raided the Dollar Tree for cheap Halloween trinkets in addition to candy, I find that little kids really like spider rings. Everyone goes apeshit for Pokemon cards, I work at an anime/nerd stuff store and load up on Trick or Trade cards, print out the store logo on sticker paper, and slap one on each pack. Then their parents know where to go to buy more. ;)
