The biggest donors to TPUSA were zionists and jews, and they of course donated to him expecting something in return. The co-founder of TPUSA, who was way older than Charlie Kirk at the time they founded it, was a zionist, and they obviously created the organization with Charlie as a loyal mouthpiece.
These donors had invested tens of millions of dollars (if not more) into TPUSA, so of course they weren't gonna let it fly when Charlie started getting off the script.
Especially given how large his following was.

The biggest supporters of zionism among the US population are conservatives, and they know they can't afford to lose that ideological ground and have admitted as much themselves. Not only are the younger generations of conservatives already quite distrustful of pissrael, but Kirk was starting to help propel this change of mindset. They have committed political assassinations for way less.
