It's likely the address that she has used for all of her official documentation for the last several years, even before she swanned off to Kuwait.

Revenue Canada Agents will show up at your house to remove assets if you ignore them, they will also empty your bank account. It's possible that she owes enough back taxes that she now has their attention. I do know someone who works in the collections branch and this is their job, to go to homes, remove assets and sell them to cover the back taxes. But it's normally a last ditch effort and they try to work out every possible resolution first, we all know what Chantal is like though.
