This. I actually first noticed it when lefties were sobbing about the state of the capitol building after jan 6, not even one single year after claiming every american icon is evil and built by slavery etc.

They also suddenly care about the epstein files out of nowhere when only a year ago you were a racist for watching whatever that movie was about killing pedophiles. I also don't hear much about climate change anymore and nobody seems to want to open borders or abolish the police.

Every time i start to get MATI about it i just remind myself of what it is: Them ceding territory, it's an indicator that they know damn well they're losing support and are tying to clean up their image. Do not let them forget.
At the same time, a cornered animal that is dying is also at its most dangerous.

As normal people everywhere are well aware, Germany is not a free country. Stasi tactics are used to suppress thoughtcrime. But that does not stop the neolibs running the country from denouncing America for not meeting their post-modernity standards.

Allah’s Willing Executioners reports that the 13th Civil Chamber of the Bonn Regional Court was ruling on a case regarding US intelligence agencies accessing someone’s data:

The US government was denounced as an “openly right-wing extremist-populist government” — the 'extremist' part in particular being risible and chockful of projection, considering that Germans shitlibs have gone overdrive with efforts to ban the only significant opposition party, Alternative für Deutschland.

To be called “fascist” in the land of Adolf Hitler as it degenerates back into anarcho-tyranny is quite a blow.

I'm hawkish when it comes to foreign policy, and I support NATO, but shit like this makes me want the US to disband NATO so we can fuck over the Germans specifically. Hitler exterminated the wrong ethnicity in Germany, holy shit.

Democrats (and TES trannies) were hoping that Trump’s trade policies would drive inflation back up to Biden levels. This hasn’t happened. So they report it has anyway. Clintonista apparatchik George Stephanopoulos smugly tells Americans they cannot afford Thanksgiving turkey this year. Walmart CEO John Furner is not on the same page: https://xcancel.com/CurtisHouck/status/1980702481404346605

The disconnect between reality and MSM spin has reached comic proportions thanks to clowns like Slopadopolis.

Lol, good to know. I'll await your much more important contributions to the thread. However, this is a pretty big, high profile American news item.
Don't take it personally, it's not directed at you. I would simply prefer when Kash walks out to tout some FBI wins it's a massive list of pedos, illegals, terrorists, and other deeply rooted problem groups plaguing the nation.

Trump's Department of Justice just prosecuted him [Diddy], secured the conviction and argued for the sentence. To just commute it now is retarded and a huge waste of resources. My guess is they're floating it to later "change their mind" while pardoning someone else that would no longer be seen as controversial in comparison.
It is such a burden being right all the time.

Prices are not going to go down in nominal dollars and people need to stop pretending like it's some gotcha that inflation was brought down to reasonable levels and not that we hit deflation. The Fed will fucking burn half the country down before they let deflation happen.

We had an 8%ish increase in cost of living across Trump 1's term. We had a 20% increase across Biden's. Anyone pretending like these are the same because inflation is now at 3% (below the average for the post gold standard US) is retarded.

If you want a number start comparing median or 25th percentile income to grocery costs.

Democrats are so desperate for something to attack Trump over that the media has attempted to whip people into a homicidal rage over him adding a ballroom to the White House at private expense.
Ehhhhh, they have more ground there than id like

In July he says and I quote "it will not impact the existing structures at all"

Im also not liking the "privately" funded thing, look at this

its already jumped in price by 100 million and I doubt that will be the last price "adjustment"

So that leaves us that he has lied pretty blatatly already about its footprint and the cost, putting aside ALL personal feelings about it thats just objectively true. The idea a bunch of Old Money assholes, big tech companies, and defense contractors are going to shell out hundreds of millions (billions) for a fancy building for the government out of the kindness of their heart is ludicrous, they are getting something out of this.

Hey but atleast when the president of France comes over we will have a appropriate place to entertain him, I know that was my top concern going into this administration, WHY CANT WE ENTERTAIN FOREIGN DIGNITARYS IN MORE OPULENCE?, id cry into the night.

You realize companies donate to such monumental things because it looks good and gives them good press, right? It's not a secret. It's good politics.

The existing structures he was talking about was the White House proper, not some walkway or some offices not even in the main building.

(next bit not directed at you, or anyone in this thread) but these motherfuckers crying about tearing down shit need to just shut the fuck up and wait ot see what the finished project looks like. i'm holding off my judgement until then.

The biggest issue with NATO is its considerable overlap with the EU.
In my opinion, there are a few big issues with NATO:
  • First of all, it's been noted since 1998 by people far smarter than me that "NATO-without-Russia" is basically asking for an eventual showdown with Russia. To be fair to NATO leadership, there were talks about post-Soviet Russia joining NATO with Boris Yeltsin, but Yeltsin thought NATO was too US-centric and backed out. There were also talks between Bill Clinton and Putin about the Russian Federation joining NATO, but Putin backed out. Putin wanted the NATO to invite Russia, not have Russia apply, and he also had the same concerns as Yeltsin about NATO being basically a US-directed military alliance... which it is.
  • Second of all, it's basically a US-subsidized military defense organization. The US pays the lion share in terms of money, materiel, and manpower. European countries slack off by and large. Countries that border Russia, Greece, and the UK actually meet their contribution requirements, but everyone else is a leech. This wouldn't be so bad if the Europeans were in any way grateful towards or cooperative with US foreign policy, but they are neither. If Russia invaded tomorrow I think the Europeans would immediately scream for the US to come save them, but the question begs: why the fuck are we subsidizing a bunch of people and countries who hate us? Why are we defending people and governments that openly conspire against us while enacting tyrannical policies upon their own people?
  • Adding Turkey to NATO was the dumbest fucking move ever. They are worse than leeches: they are a liability.
It's useful to have this kind of leverage over the Europeans. Military power is fungible and it's a major way the US maintains its influence: do what the US asks and we will protect you from all the people trying to kill you. The problem is when your vassals forget the arrangement, act entitled, and basically invite the invaders into their countries (Muslims, Russian energy interests, etc). The EU being a bunch of retarded communists is a feature, not a bug.

As with the global warming hoax, there is big money in DEI. (Token) Minority-owned status is used as a front to obtain no-bid government contracts worth $100 million and more. James O’Keefe sports a new look to expose the scam: https://xcancel.com/JamesOKeefeIII/status/1980344367014429114

Nothing good comes of discriminating in favor of the allegedly oppressed. As always, taxpayers pick up the bill for deranged moral preening by neoliberals.
