There was over 200 perfect greco roman buildings "made" for some stupid "world fair" and they claim they were somehow temporary buildings, a explanation and logic so ludicrous I cant even begin to engage with it, ask any mfer with building experience how to make a million square foot TEMPORARY structure
To be fair, the vast majority of the buildings were made of wood, stucco, plaster, and slathered with lead paint. The remaining Museum of Science and Industry building was always planned to be a permanent structure and was constructed with more suitable materials

Limp-dicked coward Paul Ingrassia withdraws from Special Counsel nomination because someone leaked some edgy text messages he posted.
Meanwhile, Jay Jones continues to run for Virginia AG with the full support of the DNC.

It's rather unfortunate for him to considering that to my understanding that Trump liked reading his writings. A few Republican politicians announced they wouldn't support Ingrassia's nomination which basically killed his chances of getting in.

It's called haggling and it's what you're supposed to do when making any large purchase (e.g. a car, a house, a business). Even brown people understand this.
The guy I haggled with was white btw. No clue about the former driver. He sold me the car, no strings, and while I had some damage to fix, it wasn't out of my ability/price range. It's a decent car now. Low mileage for its age. Probably can get another decade out of it.

Yeah, when i bought my used car for 500 bucks I just looked the guy in the eye and gave him a firm handshake. has nothign to do with it being the 90s or anything. I don't know what happened with covid, but it seemed to me like the used car market just went off a cliff then. before you could get a decent used car for 4-5 grand and now that's closer to 7 or 8 grand.

This is not relevant or timely news, but I just learned that Daniel Naroditsky just died. It’s been a while since I was interested in the chess world. It feels weird figuring out that he’s gone.
