OP is incorrect. Majority of states have Parole and a Parole Board or equivalent. Little states like California, New York, Illinois, Georgia, and Texas. Its more normal for there to be parole than not. There is also parole for Federal crimes.

Null thinks parole is a anomaly because they dont have parole in Florida. In reality its Florida that is the anomaly.
