If he had been literally any other streamer, 150 average viewers is great. But then you compare him to his overlord Hasan who usually has 20k+ viewers and it starts to pale, even more so when he's fucking idubbbz, the content cop.

If one is new to the whole trying be an online celebrity thing it's ok as it's about the minimum threshold for making a meager living off of live streaming alone provided you regularly do it 50+ hours a week or so, but it's a very precarious paycheck to paycheck/a couple bad months away from lolcow live/DSP way of living if you're as far into your career as an e-celeb as Idubbbz is. Ian's type of content is also skewed very heavily towards a much younger audience and at his age he doesn't have the shelf-life to build his let's-play-video-games-together audience up to a respectable amount by the age of 40.

I think the thing we should always keep in mind is that the 2 of them absolutely fucking hate each other.
There are way too many examples of content creators in loving relationships and content creators in terrible relationships to compare them to, and based on all the leaked DM's, the passive aggressive shit talking, the constant belittling, etc, I can't think of a single public relationship where the dynamic is as fucked as theirs is that could be considered a "good" relationship.
