I heard there’s a whole community of black Americans in Israel and I need to find them
You might be thinking about the African Hebrew Israelites in Dimona. It's a community of about 5,000 Black Americans who believe they're the true Israelites. The group was founded in Chicago by former steel worker Ben Carter and arrived to Israel in 1969.
Her opinion set off a firestorm of reactionsNo. I’m talking about Black American Christians who live in Israel. And yes, Blacks & Arabs are the true Israelites. The Ashkenazim are Jews but you are not Israelites.
Israel is geographically closer to Africa than it is Eastern Europe…. An African American descendant of Igbo tribe is way more of an Israelite than an Ashkenazi Jew. Queen Sheba is black , OF COURSE the true Israelites are black - & Arab lol.
This is not to argue you to make you upset or deny your jewry but European Jews really are genetically so far off From the admixture of a black Queen of Sheba and an Arab King Solomon - who are the Israelites. Lots of Ashkenazi identifying Jews are actually Semitic and are Israelites - (Coily hair / tan skin etc etc) But there are ones with straight hair like you who are just Jews and not Israelites. But true Ashkenazi Jews are
Azealia quotetweets her sayingThat’s false and antisemitic of you to say. Ashkenazi Jews are of Israelite and Hebrew descent and are indigenous to the Middle East. You have no right to judge who is Israelite and who is not. This is not your culture.
Michal replies againAshkenazi literally means Germanic.
Azealia continues quotetweeting MichalDo you know what the meaning of “diaspora” is? Please educate yourself. I appreciate your talent, but I have to admit I’m disappointed.
She has a screenshot of an AI convo accompanied with her postBut as far as who is and who isn’t an Israelite I think it’s actually very kinda insane that so much effort goes into trying to make black jewry seem like it’s the smallest or a byproduct of Semitic jewry when it’s the other way around. If judiaism is found in ethiopia and Uganda what makes you think it didn’t make its way to Nigeria / Benin and on the boats across ? Are we forgetting the Nubian Kushite Egyptian monotheism that predate Abraham entirely I really hope you guys haven’t been thinking I wasn’t going to eventually take it here and haven’t been calling myself Queen Of Sheba for jokes. LMFAO I’m soooo serious Judiasm is an AFRO-ASIATIC religion. If anyone has first claim to who is and isn’t an Israelite - it’s Black & Arab folk , not Germanic Ashkenazim.
Azealia quotetweets himYou’re straight up making stuff up: Judaism started in the Levant, Ethiopian and most Black Jewish communities aren’t direct descendants, ancient African religions aren’t Israelite Judaism, and Black or Arab people have zero claim to being Israelites, and unlike them, Ashkenazim have majority Levantine ancestry.
Lieeeeees. YOU aren’t a direct descendant honey
Azealia replies in a quotetweetPlease do not go to another country, make money from people there, and then tell them to their faces that they aren't who they are. This isn't right. And yes, this entire series of posts attempting to rewrite Jewish heritage, genealogy, and history is antisemitic. It is. I will probably regret wading into this conversation, but what I am seeing is so ugly and unacceptable that I feel the need to say something. This is not acceptable. I am starting to think you get pleasure out of demeaning every group. Which, yes, is equal treatment, and simultaneously is gross bigotry spewed in all directions. It's not right.
Ben, still incensed, does not quotetweet her but instead quotetweets his own post sayinglol ben the original tweet says Ethiopian jews are not descended from original Israelites … ISRaeliiiitesssssss NOBODY WAS TALKING ABOUT ISRAEL THE PLACE or JEWS. Give it a break sister
Update: she is now gaslighting everyone that when she was referring to Israelites and Jews, she was not referring to Israelites, Israel, and Jews. Even though she was. She screwed up and is now trying to pretend that what happened didn't happen. Not going to happen. Jews have been gaslit endlessly, especially over the past two years. No more. Stop this garbage. Nobody forced her to go to Israel. Don't go to Israel and say this disgusting garbage. Watch it. You're not doing anyone a favor by going to Israel and performing. Show respect. Don't treat Israelis like playthings or garbage. Don't say insanely antisemitic things about Jews, and to specific Jews on X, with your loud mouth, and think you can get away with it because you said nice things while the country was being attacked. You are not needed. You are not special. Do your business and go home. You crossed a line.
"I didn't do what I just did. I didn't tell a Jew in Israel named Amit that he is not a descendant of Jews from Israel. The quote tweet of me telling him that he is not a descendant of his literal ancestors, is a figment of your imagination. Even though I quote-tweeted it and it's still up. You are getting sleepy..."
It was Alana Newhouse of Tablet who elevated this bipolar basket case as a celebrity ‘culture icon’ ally of the Jewish people. They even gave her an award. Which she accepted dressed like a whore.
Was promptly quotetweeted by AzealiaDo you have any real reason to believe that Blacks are more related to ancient Israelites than Jews are? Or is this just something you believe for egoistic reasons
This is not even what was said. And this whole thing really just shows how adverse to concepts of black jewry you guys all are . Like watching you all jump through hoops and having jews text me this and that whatever is quite irritating and embarrassing. How did you just make this up ?
She got a Black Jew angry enough to tell her to go back where she came from.Azealia: you can't just cry racism and use black Jews as a rhetorical human shield every time you get asked to raise your intellectual and rhetorical standards from the floor. It isn't racism to ask you to cite facts, listen, ask questions, and stop pretending you know more than scholars who have studied for decades, and so on. Stop going to Israel, engaging in antisemitic and exploitative conduct while you are there, calling Jews racist and running away, and then memory-holing everything and doing superficial Jewxploitation allyship when Jews are vulnerable and desperate for support (like, you know, during a war). It's gross. It's wrong. Stop gaslighting Jews. Stop. And stop talking about black Jews. YOU AREN'T ONE. I AM ONE. AND I'M SAYING THAT YOUR BEHAVIOR IS ANTISEMITIC AND UNACCEPTABLE GO HOME
So now Jews are racist? The sad fact is you’ve actually been here and you’ve engaged with the communities out here. Yeah, you’re not coming back.
How he got that all from a GIF, I don't know and neither does Azealia as shown in her quotetweet of itAccording to you, Hitler should’ve focused his energy on the Mizrahi Jews and he just made an honest mistake cuz he killed the fake Israelites and Jews? We love you girl, you made a mistake, it’s ok to take your own words back.
She also saysLMFAO what??
Ben Badejo is fucking annoying
Ok I’m going to ignore the jews on the internet for a bit and go back to enjoying the jews in real life. Israel is great and everyone is open minded and good looking….. I’m having a blast in these Hasidic wigs
This reminded me of a certain theme songWell well well well well would you look at that.
Standalone tweets:Honestly fuck you, you racist son of a bitch
Yall are pissing me the fuck off being nasty like this about black jews.
I want to leave now.
A lot of Jealoussssyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
The forced sterilization that never happened? Yes, sounds about right for AzealiaDIT x2: She referenced the forced sterilization of Ethiopian Jews in a quotetweet. I'm getting whiplash.
I do find this Paris Is Burning affect she sometimes puts on to be very cute in a retarded way.Azealia did a call back to her old username (azealiaslacewig), wearing a wig that married Orthodox Jewish women usually wear
At least she admits she has no clue about BHI mass murder of Jews (and non-Jews who got in the way) in Jersey City a few years ago. Almost nobody in this country is aware of it thanks to the evil of corporate media.Banks is trying to apologize
I remember the media suppressed it when it found out the shooters were black. The details of the attack were awful. At least she admits she has no clue about BHI mass murder of Jews (and non-Jews who got in the way) in Jersey City a few years ago. Almost nobody in this country is aware of it thanks to the evil of corporate media.

Wait what the fuck is an “ebinoid Israelite??” LMAO, omggggg noooo Ppl think I’m crazy nowwwww Omg I’m so sorry
I see a lot of Jews are offended here, some of them I know and love, so I'll just add my 2 shekels. I met Azealia at her first show and have been speaking with her since she got here. She is lovely and not at all the caricature some people portray her as. I understand why people were offended, but her love for Israel is real. Contrary to other celebrities who hopped on the Palestine train, Azealia has nothing to gain by being pro-Israel. She has indeed lost hundreds of thousands of dollars due to refusing to play at British festivals that wanted her to jump on the Palestine train. She came to Israel not only to make music, but to learn more about a place that she's been to before but never fully experienced. Learning is a work in progress. If Black Americans sometimes see the Middle East through a racial lens, our response shouldn't be to automatically condemn them for it but to a) understand why, and b) reach out and make the effort to widen that lens as my friend Roni has done here: nitter.net/Roni_Malkai/status/197… Everyone is free to have their own opinions and react to other opinions however they want. But just like learning, relationships are a work in progress. While there are plenty of people worth condeming outright, when someone has shown us months of support online and backed up those words with real deeds, I don't think our first reaction to something we don't like should be to cut the cord. It's worth showing a little grace if we feel we've been wronged by someone we like and try to get to the other side of that instead of assuming their intentions are all bad. As we always say, Twitter isn't real life. I promise you if you met Azealia in real life you would see that she's the real deal when it comes to her support for Israel.
I just wanted to say I really appreciate the way you put this post together. Great work.Azealia got into a Twitter spat with several Israelis about her beliefs about Israelites, Black people, and Ashkenazi Jews (among other things)
That’s one of the retarded tweets she apologized for at length, admitting she was ignorant and had no idea what she was talking about. Her and the jews are joever.
Azealia lacks the discipline to do a true Orthodox conversion, which is a minimum of one year but can take up to several years if the beis din doesn’t think she’s truly ready for it after the first year. There’s always the possibility of a reform or reconstructionist conversion which conservatives and orthodox will not recognize as legitimate. Some of those high holidays will probably be more than what she bargained for. I just don’t see it.Regarding the semitophilia, I wonder if she will convert? Eventually she will reach a limit as a non-Jew. (Many would say she will be treated differently as a convert as well but it would definitely earn her credibility with many Jews.)
