In general, I don't think she finds herself so attractive as we might think, it's that overall she thinks she's way better than everybody else in every way possible. When she admits her body is gross, she does it because she knows it is, but her ego makes her think that that's part of what makes her special, different, worthy. That's why she loved to be a sexual object - the important thing is being praised and loved like a GAWDDES with no effort, not having a mature relationship, adult goals, adult responsibilities.

If this is the Destiny era molment, I'd be interested to know if she still feels the need to ask whoever she's with if other fatties outfat her (spoiler: probably not), and if they conveniently pretend not to notice said other fatty because they can't be bothered reassuring her. She will tell us that she lost "20/30/40 pounds", but surprisingly always been between 500 and 550 pounds. She knows that people want her to lose weight, so she goes to the motion of diets such as counting calories, WW, intuitive eating, that lets her eat what she wants. She will use Ozempic for a month telling us how effective it is, tell us that she lost so much weight, but then quit and is back to between 500 and 550 pounds looking for a new diet. Amber loves herself too much to lose weight; "health, mobility, long life be damn".

Semi-joking aside, it doesn't surprise me at all she's trying to do a teenage trend because Amber has major arrested development. She's nearing her 30s (or is midway through, I can't be assed to remember which) but her emotional/mental age is stuck in her teens. Doesn't surprise me she's trying to do something that's trendy with the teenage crowd and it also wouldn't surprise me if she was attempting to fish for a younger caretaker who may not know who she is or what she's about. Younger people = easier to prey on, isolate, and manipulate.

And when Emily was especially cruel for no immediate reason, "No one should ever talk like this to their partners, but it's completely and totally justified when Emily does it because we h8 Amber!!" i figured there had to be something making emily choose rachel specifically to share all of these screenshots with. the majority of reaction channels are either men or anonymous or have proved themselves too messy to get involved with. choosing a random female reactor (personally i'd never heard of her but, then again, i don't watch reactors so that's maybe not a good indicator for her popularity) seems weird until you realize emily's probably fishing for her next victim.

Yeah she said that amber was worse than Emily, but the very important context is that amber was worse in the relationship, based on what we see. Even if what we're shown regarding the relationship is accurate, Emily is still some sort of fucking demon person as a feeder. Also, amber is so dumb that Emily could have subtly goaded amber to behave this way. I think it comes down to the fact that people have a hard time seeing grey. Idiots want a good guy to root for and a bad guy to boo.

I think Emily has a thing for dark haired women, too. Colleen had dark hair if memory serves. Amber has dark hair. Rachel does, too.
Minor, and obviously she's attracted to FAT women (so hair color may not matter) but I think it's a minor pattern.
