This may also tie into Dan Mullen bragging how many more sinks his house has than Fatrick’s, and if it doesn’t it should.

Actually that was one of his neighbors who leaked that. But yeah, he's rocking a micro. His penis is incredibly tiny.
 
The footage wasn't leaked, it's from his porch CCTV and was given to the news team for his media pity run.

I don't even know if this counts as nonmedy. It's just BAD, but bad on such a visceral level that it's hard to explain. I keep trying to watch this in 30 second increments but even then it's too much. He's a black hole of charisma and comedy, it's almost impressive how unfunny he is. How did he ever think he was cut out for this?

I've never watched this until now, but holy shit, this makes you wince. Improv is already gay enough, but if it wasn't obvious how much of an uncultured, basic bitch consumer he is, it will be now. Everything with this guy is a reference to the lowest echelons of pop culture. Anything Pat undertakes is riddled with shortcuts and little effort. It's only about the projected image, not the quality of his work. The man is a talentless hack and impervious to embarrassment.

The thing that is the most indicative of Rick’s writing and his style of comedy is the passage in his book where he describes a setting as being identical to the Star Wars cantina scene, with no further setting of the scene. He completely sidesteps the work of setting the scene in favor or just likening it to a Star Wars scene (albeit a very well known Star Wars scene). He’s not actually creating anything, he’s just mashing together things he already likes without the talent or ability to transform them in any way. To create a good story or to write a good joke, you have to have talent and wit, which Porktrick does not have. His comedy is like a Family Guy bit where the whole joke is just a pop culture reference.

Going back to his writing, though, the only writers that I’ve seen do something similar are Ernest Klein (who wrote Ready Player One, something I feel like Rick would eat up) and Linkara when he was 14. The latter had a book where one of the main plot points revolves around Linkara’s self insert using a magic spell to turn one of his enemies into a character from Invader Zim. In both cases the author was too lazy and untalented to come up with their own original idea, so they just shoehorned in a bunch of things from other IP’s and called it a day.

It's a fairly simple thing. It's where you see the difference between "so bad it's good" and "so bad it just fucking sucks." I have never been able to watch this intolerably awful thing in its entirety and am somewhat amazed nobody physically beat the shit out of him. I suppose it's because it was just so shit it was incapable of even evincing an emotional response like anger.
