The problem is no apology would have come off as anything less than totally hollow because he is not sorry. He enjoys torturing that dog as has been proven by his treatment of the dog. He also clearly knew the collar was cruel which was why he made such efforts to hide its use.

Some people are good deep down but assholes on the surface however at Hasan's core there is a mass of rotting flesh writhing with maggots.

legit all he had to do was tell the truth. his fans do not give a fuck and admitting he shocks the dog would have helped this move by way faster. the constant lying is what made it worse because it encouraged people to dig into past clips and find the truth. that combined with his really shitty attempt to hide that the collar is in fact a shocking collar just made things far far worse.

i dont even think he enjoys hurting the dog as much as its all he knows. when you grow up as rich as he did you tend to be taught that everything is below you. combine that with living in LA a place filled with dog "trainers" who preach that the only way to train a dog is to shock it into total submission and you end up with someone like hasan.

this is not trying to excuse anything he has done either i just think if he was looking for a dog to abuse and get joy from said abuse he would have picked something smaller and more pathetic. that dog is large enough that it could easily kill him if it got tired of his shit the second the collar comes off and it knows its free from getting zapped.

I think what gets me the most about all of this is that if he had shocked the dog for excessive barking or attacking someone/something, you know the reason the collars exist, no one would have cared.
