I'm sure it's been discussed before but I just had to drop $900 at the vet so I'm in a fuckin' mood and want to commiserate about this thing I got in the Lyft app today.

I don't remember signing up for Women+ Connect on Lyft but evidently I did or it forced it on me idk. It showed me this today and I couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of it all.

What the fuck is the point of choosing this when "Women" includes men? And when "nonbinary" means literally anyone who calls themselves that?? It's so fucking stupid. Actually, it's worse than stupid because it's pitched as a safety feature that's completely meaningless in a world where woman is a feeling.

We don't have a ton of troons in the wild where I live (any "Women+ drivers I've gotten have been T&H women) but I did get stuck with a "woman" last time I traveled to a much bigger, way more pozzed city. The app seemed real proud of itself for preferentially matching me to a "woman." Thought about putting him on blast here for the lols because his profile pic was obviously brick-faced male but he was pleasant and dressed age appropriate (i.e. not like a child or streetwalker), and the car was clean, so I let it go.

Generally speaking I'd rather take my chances with some random guy than get stuck with a "woman," at least the guy isn't pretending to be something he's not.

Not only that but you are significantly safer/more likely to get to your destination with a guy than with one of those "women" because it's always possible for you to say something they don't like, if you are lucky they will just terminate your ride, but if you are unlucky they might swerve into oncoming traffic.

The "suddenly I'm nonbinary" dodge seems stupidly obvious, at least as soon as a driver with decent English explains it to the rest of them. What could Lyft possibly do, make them write an essay about their genderfeels before it lets them click a box?

Even aside from the eternally offended crowd, are people not expected to have empathy? Sure, troons are annoying as hell. But it’s also pretty distressing to hear about a young person or even a child destroying their life because a bunch of depressed gooners lied to them.

The majority of AGP comes from porn addictions and deranged fantasies. They claim to be feminists, but at the same time are some of the most anti-women on this planet. Look at how theey talk about women, it's always treating them as objects and sexual fantasies. The fetishization of periods, vaginas, wombs, girly talk etc. It's like a skinwalker thinks or behaves when he thinks of woman.

In their mind, they think people are simply enjoying themselves and that getting in the way of that is like barging into someone's room and dictating what they're allowed to do in private. In the eyes of many of them, if the child isn't allowed to chemically sterilize himself, it's child abuse and will drive him to suicide. Empathy doesn't apply because from their viewpoint they think they are the ones being empathetic.

They're such stupid arguments, but if you ask me, they're quite nice and reassuring to hear them come out with, because they're becoming a lot more commonplace now that the trannies are losing. That and the old chestnut about how 'Trans people only make up 0.01% of the population, so...'

It means that they've exhausted every other talking point and none of them have worked.
