Eh, I read the Sepsis thing but I figured she'd be dead if so. I'm more interested in the whole getting kicked out of hospitals thing. The only time I saw a news story about something like that, it was some woman who kept going to hospitals because she was addicted to pills. She ended up dying in the waiting room because they refused to help her.

"I HAVE THE RIGHT TO-"
"You also have the right to remain silent, that would be a great thing to start with" :story:

One cop has the worst haircut ever (he looks like Filthy Frank did it for a bet) and the other cop (Ramos?) is a hottie, he couldn't rape me in custody 'cause I'd just consent ayyyyy lmao

Wait a minute. Personality disorder.

So....narcissistic personality or borderline personality disorder? She fits both. :D
I guessed psychosis or schizophrenia of some kind, when she was talking about all these conspiracies and what sounded like hallucinating her name on the TV, but it might just be narcissism assuming everything is about her.

False rapes screamed BPD to me. But psychosis or Schizophrenia can fit, especially hearing voices.

The doctor coming out and basically going, "Yeah the bitch is crazy but cleared to be taken away by you lads." was icing on the cake.
Never seen the medical equivalent of “you don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here” before.

I don’t feel sorry for her in any capacity, but it is a big (:smug:) problem that there is no workable solution currently for people like her. There’s jail and there’s hospitals, both of which are chronically overcrowded and understaffed as well as being necessary, and the way infrastructure is set up in this country both services must see to them…but this fixes nothing. These people just get to chew up resources as much as they like because there’s no recourse, because there’s nowhere else for society to put them.

Every day the world gives me new reasons never to look outside.

Shame there wasn't building work going on nearby, they could have scooped her up in a dump truck.

My favorite part was when she was asking about her "rights" and the cop told her that "being silent is one of them" and to "please use it".

Apologies if you know all this, but for anyone new to the thread, JaeBae was really active online leading up to the arrest. It appeared like she was using illness as a way to stop her boyfriend from kicking her out of the house. His posts are archived in the thread somewhere as well, he had been trying to get her to leave for awhile. She used her illness as a means to scam him and solicit donations online. Then, when he finally refused to pick her up from some ER, she tried to treat the hospital as a taxi and demanded they drive her somewhere.

We need her dad to come over here and chat. I have so many questions.

It's great to hear that her father has completely told her to fuck off and won't even answer her calls. So many of our lolcows would be better off in the long run if their parents did that. Half the fat activists in this thread are subsidized by their families.

She's definitely crazy, but she seems like the kind of crazy where she's just refusing to take her meds. Luckily, most psych meds are dosed by brain size instead of body size, so she wouldn't need to take 50 pills a day. She'll be more likely to take her meds if she knows she'll be on the street living next to a dumpster otherwise. Or given human-sized meals at a food pantry.

Fall down and go limp is a great strategy if there's only a couple cops and zero equipment. She's not only 550 lb, she's squishy as hell. Trying to do more the burrito roll her is a great way to fail on bodycam.

But as you said, the US has pioneered fatty-lifting technology. The fire department that brought the tarp lift probably uses it twice a month or more.

We have dentists with bariatric chairs. We have hospitals with heavy duty MRI tables and extra wide operating tables (shout out Dr Now). We have jumbo arm wraps for the blood pressure machines.

US medical equipment is so fat-friendly, it could kill Grandma. I saw a frail old lady getting wheeled out of a hospital in the hospital-owned wheelchair. It was so wide, the nurse had to hold her down into the seat because she was slipping back and forth on the vinyl seat.
Being too big to arrest was an excellent strategy in the 1800’s, now not so much.

Here is opposite world’s rugged individualist fat lady - Mahala Mullins. Sometime after the birth of her 19th!!!!!!! child Mahala developed Elephantiasis which made a large woman much larger. She lived in a remote area of Appalachia so the cops were helpless to remove her from her remote mountain home, even getting to the house was difficult nevermind hauling an uncooperative 400 lb woman from it. She used it to her advantage and ran a very successful moonshine operation and helped other moonshiners since she was virtually untouchable.

And now her museum is in Sneedville? :story:

Damn, I forgot to add that and it was one of the reasons I thought to post it. Yes, it’s in Sneedville! (Her house was legit so remote nobody could ever hike to visit it if it wasn’t given its rightful spot in Sneedsville near a road)

Also, I love “catchable, but not fetchable” as her motto.
