As a person? He's very unfiltered for better and for worse, has a big ego and isn't always the best judge of character. As a politician? Often he gives people the benefit of the doubt too much at least when it comes to foreign policy, flips flops on tariffs a lot (I'm not against them but can we at least get a concrete stance that lasts for a few months at the very least) and has a tendency to attach himself to questionable business promotions or deals. To give him credit he has learned from a number of his past mistakes from the first administration. No man is without flaws, Trump is the ideal pragmatic option compared to his rivals, a truly "perfect" candidate doesn't exist and it is certainly better he is in charge of the country rather then Kamala Harris or Nikki Haley (Nimarata Randhawa).

I like a lot of things he's doing but those are some critiques that come to mind that go beyond just stating he isn't left-wing or right-wing enough to someone's liking.
The flip flopping is/was a problem with the tariffs. The CDC has also had to rehire employees it laid off. The scale of disruption: job uncertainty and higher prices is uncomfortable. It looks like his administration decided not to put much thought in up front and try to fix problems in the field. I suppose it's better than ploughing ahead when you are headed for disaster.
I didn't like the Obiden social engineering and don't like Trump's either. I would like to see a politician refrain from rubbing people's faces in policies bound to disappoint them (or consider whether the policy is necessary). Too bad that option hasn't been on the table in a while.
My third issue with Trump is his engagement with trivia. It makes me wonder what is going on behind the distraction. I don't love the guy and don't hate the guy but don't find most of his twitter posts entertaining or interesting. Who gives a flip about Rosie O'Donnell.

my guess 1 & 3 are the issue.
STATEMENT ON DEPARTMENT OF WAR MEDIA ACCESS GUIDELINES FROM THE FEDERALIST CEO SEAN DAVIS AND EDITOR-IN-CHIEF MOLLIE HEMINGWAY:

When other credentialed outlets and journalists spread lies about the Russia collusion hoax, or the Covington kids hoax, or the Kavanaugh rape hoax, or the Ukraine impeachment hoax, or the COVID-19 natural origin hoax, or the peaceful BLM riots hoax, or the suckers and losers hoax, or the Hunter Biden laptop hoax, or the Biden’s-brain-is-totally-fine-you-guys hoax, The Federalist fearlessly reported the truth.

Corrupt corporate journalists published lies and regurgitated regime propaganda and were given awards. We published facts and the truth, and the U.S. federal government responded by waging a global war of illegal censorship against The Federalist. They profited from lies, while we were punished for reporting the truth.

Where were these self-styled First Amendment defenders when we were illegally censored and targeted for debunking Deep State lies and hoaxes? Many of them not only refused to defend us, but cheered the illegal censorship efforts against us. NBC News, for example, colluded with Big Tech to demonetize and deplatform us for criticizing the government and the corrupt corporate news media.

So you’ll have to forgive our skepticism of corporate media’s ostensible new love of press freedoms and the First Amendment.

We actually read through the new Department of War media access guidelines, and we found zero new restrictions on the ability of journalists to report on or criticize the government. Many corporate journalists eager to grandstand will claim otherwise without evidence, but we will show you what the actual document says.

“Nothing in this document requires you to waive any constitutional rights. This in-brief constitutes a description of [Department of War] policies."

“Members of the news media are not required to submit their writings to [the Department of War] for approval.”

“This in-brief and its Appendices address [Department of War] policy and the potential bases for such a determination and do not prohibit you as a [credential holder] from engaging in constitutionally protected journalistic activities, such as investigating, reporting, or publishing stories.”

“My signature represents my acknowledgement and understanding of such [Department of War] policies and procedures, even if I do not necessarily agree with such policies and procedures. Signing this acknowledgment does not waive any rights I may have under law.”

Those are the actual facts. And as usually is the case, we are likely the first outlet to report them. We look forward to eagerly covering the Pentagon, both on-site and from a distance, with the same fearlessness and courage and devotion to the truth that we have exhibited since we were created. And if the new guidelines result in fewer professional con artists and media hoaxers roaming the halls looking for new lies to peddle, so be it.

Who gives a flip? The voting public, that's who. Trump understands how to connect with regular people who make up the overwhelming majority of the voters. It's why he could wipe the floor with the "serious-minded" GOP primary runners in 2015. Trivial theater like his McDonald's stunt, helped to put him over the top for the presidential win.

Don't underestimate the power of trivia to help keep politicians connected to the public and on top.

I think Rubio is fine where he is and he doesn't need a promotion at all. The idea of Rubio becoming President freaks me out because he's pretty much a neocon retard that is being kept in check by Trump. I like him as he is right now but I don't trust him to lead the country.
I don't want the leader of the free world's last name to end with a vowel.

JUST IN - Trump's Pentagon confiscates "virtually every" major media organization's press passes for refusing to sign on to new Department of War media policy.
OSINT fags most effected
Huh, I didn't know that the First Amendment entails leaking confidential information and soliciting criminal acts. That's news to me!

You can never hate journos enough.

Gavin Wax, a jew, leaks chats of young right wingers in his org to ruin their lives out of petty spite and to gatekeep, Arynne Wexer, a jew, runs cover calling them racist while mocking starving kids of a minority that jews cant use fully to fuck with whites only yet and hopefully will never be able to, Both of these are supposed to be right wing figures. Once again TKD.

He way overdoes it and it's an unflattering take on regular people. Who, I would hope, care about buying a house, paying for medical, keeping their job, etc etc etc.

It's part of his personality. This isn't an either/or situation. Trump has enacted and proposed more serious policy in the first year of this term than any other president I've ever seen. So, he also wants to talk trash - he's capable of doing both. The man never sleeps.

Oh they can stop whining, I’m sure they’ll still have plenty of legit “anon sources’ saying how the F-35 almost got shot down by a Soviet era missile system.

I’ll be real, I think everyone is more shocked he hasn’t died yet with his addictions and ‘meat only’ diet.

TOTAL JOURNOSCUM DEATH!
I get that this is to prevent leaks and "anonymous sources" articles, but I do think the new policy is heavy-handed. That said, these "journalists" lie so much that people actually support the measure, which is their fault. They can't just admit they abused their privileges and now it's backfired on everyone.
His reliance on cryptocurrency being the future of commence, and his back pedaling on immigration like allowing foreign Chinese students into American universities, his indecision on TikTok being a Chinese asset and of course, DEI if you’re Indian or a pretty, dumb bimbo.
The crypto stuff is mostly Vance. Trump's H1B stuff has quietly targeted Indians. The China stuff is concerning since so many of these students could be technology spies. It's a double-edged sword because there are some interesting energy and materials researchers in Asia, especially Singapore. Many Chinese nationals get educated in China, go make their bones in Singapore (or Japan), and then hop over to the US or Europe.

That sounds dangerously close to admitting that OSINT isn’t actually “OS”.

The new Pentagon rules only require journalists to clearly identify themselves as press, have an escort while in most of the building, and not to try to solicit any information from staff. None of them are a concern unless you were actually trying to get information that you’re not allowed to have.
