Bit :offtopic: but he's refering to the new map in Heroes of the Storm (based on the Overwatch map, but I digress). It reads more like Jake is a bit too :autism: to learn new things/maps. How can one not git gud when you have that much time to spend on games?

I had a "canary in the mine" experience related to this on the weekend. One of the most tolerant people I know, who usually vocally embraces diversity and inclusiveness, expressed their anger about the sheer ridiculousness of what "trans" has come to mean and the extent to which we're now required to accommodate the absurd.
 
I've seen something similar too recently: very tolerant, pro-minorities, left-wing guy. But there was another case of some MTF trans person competing in a women's sporting event (I can't really remember the details, but I believe it was a contact sport) and he basically called bullshit on it saying that this is going too far.

It's kinda sad because we've made so much progress recently, making it possible for trans people to just live out their lives in peace for the most part. But the batshit crazy brigade that Jake is part of just push and push until all the normies leave, the sane trans people leave....and instead of taking this as a hint to shut up they just screech even louder and insist even more that Baldy McBeardGuy is totes a woman.

This seems like a side effect of one of those "geek social fallacies" problems where a group has been ostracized and excluded so many times that "exclusion is always bad" has become a cultural ethos. That creates a social environment where predators, abusers, and emotional vampires will thrive because no one will ever tell them "no"-- because everyone has always felt that being told "no" and being left out of something is the worst thing a person can do.

Interestingly, the gay community managed to push back against this kind of co-opting of their identity. As a consequence, bisexuals are held in a certain amount of suspicion, which is unfair to them, but at the same time prevents straight people whose gay life experience amounts to calling Chris Pratt "hot" once from being considered anything other than a hanger-on.

Meanwhile, asexuals and transgender people are full of young adults who simply can't find a significant other or are "questioning" their gender and adopt an identity to "fill the void."

Upper body strength differences between the sexes are not controversial and are merely an objective fact. So is the fact that men, generally, are disproportionately more responsible for crimes of violence.
