To chime in on Anisa getting a pet snake - I sincerely hope they don't get another pet, especially not an exotic one. I have been in the fish/reptile hobby for more than 20 years now. The Jommers are the exact kind of people that would give the hobby a bad name due to lack of research and neglectful care.

While certified kinaesologist herpetologist Anisa would certainly land on a designer breed ball python or corn snake that costs 30 times the regular rate with 30 times the health defects, I will take a bet that their tank will be way too small (but hey, at least the tank was free!), poorly ventillated, their lighting setup will be lacking and their substrate choice will be harmful/unhygienic. Snakes in general are also good at hiding an illness due to their slow metabolism, so chances are they won't spot any issues and let it die. Man, I can never get over this pic. The hair, the eyebrows, the teeth, her nose. Do we know what her outfit looks like? She's always had a peculiar fashion sense and that's coming from someone who couldn't care less about my own fashion choices.
I'll be kind and give her some leeway with the eyebrows, majority of us have had a bad eyebrow phase especially when we were in our teens. My two cents on the "is Anisa ugly or not" debate:

If you disregard the personality, hygiene, tattoos, and other cosmetic choices mistakes, she's comfortably mid.

To be fair, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I don't personally consider mid to be an inherently bad thing. In my experience I've known women who were considered mid to age more gracefully than ones who were considered hot, but I digress.

For Anisa, you can't actually disregard the traits I listed before because without them she wouldn't be who she is. When you take all of those things into consideration she is an objectively ugly person. There are people out there who are not blessed with conventionally attractive features, but have kind hearts and endearing personalities that shine through and make them beautiful in their own way. Anisa has the opposite effect and being comfortably mid isn't enough to get away with it.

This is basically what I was saying. For some people who think she’s THAT ugly, they have more saved pics than Ian does of her. I’m just not as passionate on her looks.
