Obviously everything in this narrative that isn't outright fabricated is subject to a lot of spin and reshaping post-hoc, but what gets me with these narratives is how "and every one stood up and clapped" they usually are. Main Character Syndrome is another one of those buzzwords that get used to the point of meaninglessness, but it really does describe a big part of the trans experience, the solipsism at the heart of the trans journey, They don't have patience or sympathy for anyone in their lives, those people exist as side characters to their personal gender drama.

Have to disagree wrt Central Florida - every smoke shop, fast food place, etc is manned by pooners, and about 25% of restaurant waiters are on titty skittles - I live closer to the east coast but they're everywhere.

Yeah it's got to the point where I see at least a dozen pooners for every troon. I'm in FL too and not even in a major city like Tampa. It's tiresome.
