What's neat about Virginia, is as much as that state leans blue due Richmond + Norfolk/VABeach + DC area; Virginia dems always seem to fucking act like they are in a much more deep-blue state (i.e. NY, CA) and/or with much more "fortified" elections (i.e. NM, NC) than they are actually.
I think there's still 3 & 1/2 weeks left in the race (more or less), if this trend continues they actually might indeed win (and at the very least it seems they've blocked off the chance for a clean Dem sweep of Virginia's executive offices). It's plenty of time for the Republicans to make Jones' retarded bloodthirst and the rest of the Democratic slate's demented unwillingness to disavow him stick.
