Has Tucker actually called for a "crusade" against Nigeria or did he simply point out that Christians are being killed in Nigeria and it's not reported on in the MSM in favor of the Israel/Palestine conflict? Seems like a huge exaggeration to me which is pretty common for people when talking about Tucker for some reason. Why is that? I've never seen a conservative commentator so attacked by the right and right adjacent people by taking a simple statement of fact made by Tucker and exaggerating it to massive extremes to smear him. I understand why the left does this as they do it to everyone on the right, I understand why Israeli donors do this to Tucker, I do not understand why so many others on the right do this as well.

Meat prices are high for a variety of reasons but primarily due to cyclical purges and controls they place on the size of herds to artificially keep prices from falling through the floor. It’s always been done but being paired with the general inflation rate being so high among other factors has made it way more extreme for the average person. People like to jump on the FDR hate bandwagon or pretend that there’s a way for America to farm the levels of produce it does without massive programs but there’s no proof we can. Maybe if you completely broke up any huge conglomerates and actually happened to have enough people with the know how, desire, and financial ability to run them but even then the efficiency is a direct product of the scale and concentration of the industry. It would still be preferable from a quality stand point to have decentralized farming but that doesn’t make it realistic from a production or economic perspective.
Rye is cheaper than soybeans, it's what most of us grow in the winter to feed them when there isn't enough grass. During the warm months mine get one bag of feed a day, other than that they just eat grass.
Soybean (even the hulls) makes excellent ruminant fodder; very high in protein, the animals love it, and its usually fairly cheap. Its the kind of stuff that gets used in feedlots for rapid protein supplementation. No one in my area (I mean within 500 miles) grows soybeans, since corn subsidies dominate everything, but I can still get a nice protein mix with soybean hulls for a reasonable price per ton.
It seems to happen every weekend or so.
There are lots of other options; in my area, alfalfa is king, and provides enough that supplementation isnt necessarily required. I cant speak for the rest of the country, though. It's really just what is left over from other methods of production that can be used cheaply for food.
The quality of the thread goes up whenever something major happens but once the non-regulars leave it turns to shit really fast.
