Don't take it personal if I can't eat what you cook. I have ARFID.
I'm not picky, I have a eating disorder. I have had it my whole life. I am sensitive to textures and taste. I have safe food and unsafe foods. I only in the last year or so had a name for it. ARFID stands for Avoidant, Restrictive, Food, I take, Disorder. ARFID Food Profile – Patient Guidance
Patient Note: I have ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), which is a sensory- and anxiety-based eating disorder. My safe foods are limited due to texture, taste, and predictability. Forcing non-safe foods can trigger gagging, nausea, or vomiting. This is not picky eating — it is a recognized disorder that impacts nutrition and GI health.
