If Chins and Salad "divorced" in another jurisdiction- either Syria or Kuwait- there would be no real need for her to divorce here, unless she was able to get spousal (doubtful). The only reason I could see for her to register it would be if she wanted to remarry (again, X to doubt that possibility).

I’m a US citizen. Forgive me a question. If she does identify as married are there tax benefits? Here in the US you could exempt more income from taxation if you are two people filing joint taxes. TIA

I kid you not, there was a half-formed sentence in one of the lives after said she fainted where she said something like, ‘maybe have to get my diabetes under…’ and then she trailed off, when talking about getting well before flying.

OK this confirms it for me, she's attempting to do to Salad what she did when Bibi was trying to separate: delaying the "breakup" due to her health. Bibi would have tossed her out years earlier than he actually did had she not browbeaten him into supporting her through her hysterectomy.

It dawned on me the other day that this would be her first trip to Canada since inviting herself to Syria. Dumb and arrogant as she is even she understands that Salad's new life in Syria won't be the revolving door Kuwait was. She may realize that the odds of her being allowed to return are slim to none, naturally her reaction to this is to further irritate Salad and his family by refusing to leave.

Sure she shouldn't be flying in her condition but when has that ever stopped her?

I was joking when I said the other day that the Al-Refae clan may have to kill this bitch to get rid of her, it's starting to look like they'll need to seriously consider it. Gunt will not fuck off willingly, not once she's gotten into a man's house.
 
He should take her for a hospital check up and get the doctor to agree she's too sick to stay in Syria and needs to GTFO now. We all know she's got a handful of conditions that would legitimately make a doctor say that. Then Salah can drive her to the airport and refuse to pick her up. "It's for health, babe. You need Canada hospital."

If he's not willing to ditch her at an airport or a hospital, his best bet is driving her to Beirut and surprising her with a lovely trip to the Canadian embassy...then dumping her at the gate. If he films it, he can probably sell exclusive access to the video to FFG for $2000.

She watches reaction channels obsessively. She knows most of gorl world thinks Salah is fixing up that house so he can marry a local girl. How many channels have speculated that three day family beach trip was partially about introducing him to a young woman?

She's starting to believe it, and is nervous he'll never let her back in if she leaves Syria for a vacation. She already knows his family hates her. If she goes to Canada and he gets a pretty young bride, she's out. He'll ghost her. No more brown man to get her takeout and fake love her.

I agree. She keeps saying "I always paid rent on time" but that was at least three years ago, and to my knowledge, not even a place that was in her name AND! she was making big money at that time and still doing payday loans and borrowing money So, she basically has no rental history, no work history, no reliable income, in active bankruptcy for the second time, and a Google history that would make even the slumiest of landlords weary.

I remain convinced the only reason Chantal isn’t going to Canada is because the only options she has is her mom or her aunt, and she doesn’t want to be subject to any rules or restrictions either of them may lay down.

I’d say the issue with Salah finding someone is 1. His ways of courting are absolutely terrible, and 2. He’s a manchild that most women would get sick of or peace out from in no time flat. I will always say that Salah only got Chantal because of her unique blend of stupidity and desperation.

Who is to say Chantal is not the second wife, or even 3rd, or 4th? We know nothing about Salah and his life other than what Chantal tells us, and we can be sure that it is entirely bullshit. I recommend you browse the second wife marketplace on Instagram, there is many of them, and you will see they are not that picky. They also would have no problem accepting her for financial reasons, it is why they do this after all. Poor people are not having several wives or arranged marriages out of love or to strengthen claims to nobility, but because of money. In the previously mentioned second wife market place the proof is in their profiles, the ads are not a list of desires or fantasies like a Tinder ad, but rather "second wife makes X amount of income, will cook/clean/care for children, works Y job, looking for husband to provide roof over head".

Honestly, go browse, Salah is a catch for camel faced hags living in poverty, ESPECIALLY with an obese ATM machine in the other room.

The villa (her last place in Canada before she moved to Kuwait) was at least two rooms. Peetz had his own room.

The weird "apartment" she stayed at for those two weeks or so last time she was in Canada everyone thinks was a room, not it's own apartment like she was insinuating. She only showed her room and kept saying she had to be quiet and she couldn't share what anything else looked like. She kept trying to frame it like she wanted privacy, but since when has Chantal actually cared about that unless she's going to get in trouble lol
