I don't know what what is most disturbing, that there was something sexual between Hussie and Toby or that /v/ faggots have an unsual desire to rape Hussie
Pornography addiction. That's what's more annoying.
How long until we find out that Andrew has an Annoying Dog tattoo with a Q?
Fox'ed. More like FUCH'ED am I right?

Toby speaks like a fag tbh

Finally got around watching the Homestuck pilot... Just as the source material the show itself proves be very inaccessible to newcomers or people that don't know anything about homestuck , it tries to mash a lot and i mean a lot of mechanics and lol so random humor that it quickly becomes confusing and it doesn't help that spindle horse tought that adding their signature shitfuck profane dialogue would help make it funnier, having said that i still think Toby speaks like a fag and shouldn't do voice acting for the mc

The other day o decided to watch some videos about homestuck to have a better understanding and with this one i got pretty surprised about how it helped to foster tumblrism among young impressionable internet weebs , going as far to introduce the concept of gay activism to them , how hussie always had this weird confrontative love/hate relatinship with the fandom, how we will never experience it as it was product of flash dying and the web comic being reformated like dogshit afterwards

Edit Epilogue:
It's also very funny to see how the whole thing is a living relic of the late 90s to early 2010s "cool liberal" that wasn't afraid to make use of heckin problematic humor and profanity

While looking back at the Alec Holowka situation I found that Matt Thorson was one of Alec's friends and then turned on him and supported Zoe when the allegations happened, and apparently celebrated his suicide. I'm sure you might remember this but I thought it would be good to bring it up again.

I was actually surprised to learn Homestuck was as gay as it was, especially for something from the late 2000s/early 2010s. I had never even heard of Homestuck until around 2012-ish. See, pretty much all of the people I followed at the time; countdown creators, YouTube Poopers, Viral Video guys, Normal Boots, Hidden Block, ScrewAttack, BlisteredThumbs, RetrowareTV, Punk Effect; none of them knew about Homestuck, none of them acknowledged Homestuck, let alone shilled it.

This was before the homogenization of the Internet began to really kick in, meaning sites like DeviantArt and Tumblr existed in their own bubbles and the rest of the Internet could point and laugh at them. Homestuck was kind of the Internet's best kept secret at the time, or at least the matter of how influential it was in the long run. The advent of Steven Universe and Undertale in 2015 is when I feel the quote-unquote "invasion" truly began. Gamergate had also come and went, and the journos & their associates were able to memoryhole it out of the spaces that wern't hyperfocused on spreading it everywhere, leaving room for the new "girl & gays-friendly" ideology to take root.

Things were truly more bubbled back then.

I started using tumblr somewhere 2012-2013. Never heard about Homestuck before. First time i probably took notice of it was when Generalivan (voice actor who dubbed some memes, for example the Meduka Meguca series) uploaded a bunch of Homestuck memes.

Was he actually mentioned in one of the write ups? I am not sure, but i feel like he was part of that space, although i think he deleted most of his content around 2013, because he went professional.

I literally learned about it through this dorkly comic

Even after that the things i learned where that at the time it was more than 700k pages long wich discouraged me from getting into it, other interesting thing learned about homestuck cosplayers was that they where considered pariahs amongst con communities due to their insane antics *cough* the sharpie bath incident *cough* and even when i dared to try it i found it very confusing due to the excesive use of mechanics and terminology in the first dozen pages

Vinesauce? 🤔
If I had to make a guess, I would've said Vinesauce would've been added in part 2. I dunno what the "heh" is implying here but I'm sure he might have the year 2016 in it. It was a pretty eventful year to say the least. Homestuck ended, A couple of gay anime came out, the Hamilton Broadway show. There was also something else big that came out at that time but I think ill hold my breath if he talks about it.

I may be a bit late on the whole Undertale being at the right place at the right time sort of thing. But still, I do believe that is only because of what the elite wanted over majority desires. Cartoon Network did not develop an obsession over fucking Teen Titan's Go reruns all day out of nowhere after all. Or how most of this cultural phenomenon relied on hijacking existing properties itself. If this was really actually popular they would not need to resort to such efforts, so this feels more like diktate from on high supported by a few million voices. Which given modern population numbers is not that much at all.
