Couldn't agree more with this. Millennials collectively had the best childhoods ever. We were so spoiled to the point where so many of us were not at all prepared for any challenges of adulthood. The "participation trophy" generation is used to being given things, and they haven't grown out of that mentality whatsoever, which is why they want everyone else to fix the problems they have faced throughout adulthood.
I'm not going to deny that Millennials have had it entirely easy-- once our generation was old enough to enter the job market, the 2008 recession hit, for starters. But, like I've said, Millennials do not care to solve their problems, and they want everyone else to fix it for them.
Millennials deserve the hate we're getting now, and sadly I predict we will deserve the hate we'll be getting in the future. I've seen many people say that while the Boomers killed the economy, it was Millennials who killed the culture. Boomers suck, but at least the music and the movies they made were superior. lol.
Also, it was Boomers and Millennials who were the driving forces behind the fucking covid shutdowns/lockdowns. Boomers and Millennials robbed so many kids of their youth, and I will be the first to apologize to Gen Z and Gen Alpha on behalf of people my age. It still makes me sick what kids went through during that time. There's something evil about the generation who had "The Best Childhoods Ever" forcing the worst childhoods ever onto younger generations over the coof.
