I can't cook in the kitchen for shit but I can grill. Anytime an interested woman asks, I'm honest but make sure it's understood I can grill at least. It's not a point of pride for any man to not be able to cook. I'm pretty sure a pooner on Caleb Hammer once bragged about not being to maintain a budget because that wasn't man shit.

My dad has those exact same gloves for grilling, but he uses them to pull hot racks from the smoker and move around logs in the fire box and things like that. Idk if I've ever put on gloves when using tongs or seen anyone do that before. Especially when there's no heat.

It's pretty common to see some trans individuals dismissing science and logic, even though science is what made HRT possible for them. It's almost mind-boggling how they reject the very thing that supports their identity. I have respect for trans people who acknowledge biology, but it seems like many are more into a fetish than genuinely being trans, or they just struggle to accept reality.

The stupidest part of all the pooner (and troon) stuff is that the reason they do anything is this, they're doing it because it's a stereotype (or at least their way of coding things). The pooner in the image could grill and still be a woman, it is indeed possible for women to work a barbeque without ill effect. There are in fact a ton of female BBQ chefs all over the south who do just that!

But the woman in the picture doesn't really want to barbeque any more than a furry really wants to live as an animal. They want a curated fantasy to LARP as, the validation of people around them talking about them as the manly grillmaster even as they fail to even warm vegetables on a grill that looks like it hasn't been used in years. Of course their food will be shit, because they don't actually want to learn to cook or put that effort in, all that matters the performance of it.

If a trans person acknowledges biology they should accept that single-sex spaces of their "gender identity" should not include them. This idea is basically absent from the trans movement. Please show me this trans person who advocates for sex-based discrimination.

Exactly. I'm a true and honest woman and love barbecuing and smoking. No one has ever blinked at me working a grill. Granted I don't dress as a parody dudebro while doing it or don welding gloves to tong some veggies.

in case you were wondering what the "lawful plans" were, she had a DNR placed on her kid years ago after all the psuedoscience trials (she mentions essential oils, sound bath and hypnotherapy) didn't help alleviate the suicidal ideation, and is now ass mad that the hospital didn't honor her bogus DNR since they didn't reach out and ask her for permission to save her son's life after he lobotomized himself with a gun. mind you the kid never actually died and thus didn't require resuscitation anyway, she's arguing that having a (not legal) DNR meant that the hospital wasn't allowed to treat him and prevent his suicide from being successful and now wants to hold them accountable for doing so.

I know it's a troon with a fresh TBI and a Proud Troon Mom so we'll never get a straight answer, but DNRs do not work that way.

Code status has to be ordered each time someone is admitted to the hospital.

Maybe there's a POLST (or whatever their state calls it), but I would almost guarantee the mom is talking about an advance directive. Which she wouldn't even need (other than for moral support) because she's next-of-kin anyway.

Every time someone has an evil hospital story, I really wish they'd publish their charts. The patient/family can make whatever claims they feel like, but the hospital and its staff legally can't comment. Not that hospitals are never guilty of wrongdoing, but there's no way to know because the only source for this story is an unhinged person who's full of emotions.

Not American, so apologies if this is a dumb question. Is it that easy to get a DNR in the US? Where I'm from not only does it cost quite a bit because of all the people involved in making sure you fully understand what you're signing, but there's no way you'd be able to get one as a minor. So to me it's sounds absolutely unbelievable that this kid had such a thing, but going by the reactions it's actually a thing that children can get?
