Once something becomes an existential threat, there is no desire to follow any rule of law. All that matters is surviving. So of course Texas is forced to do something about. It had no choice. Thankfully the border patrol was wise to stand down and deescalate the situation.
Texas still did follow the rule of law in how they handled it. It did get heated, and I think the news played up some of it a bit, because that definitely sounds like a much more interesting story. A possible stand-off between Texas and the federal government is a headline that will get views.

That said. Texas was definitely forced into doing something. Because of the complete irresponsibility of the Biden administration, which is part of my point. I think it's important for the states to hold some authority to challenge federal decisions in some cases. Although this one is a weird case particularly, because I do think the federal government should be what defends the border. In this case They were literally just opening the flood gates. So Texas had to take it into it's own hands. If there was no legal authority to do it, it possibly could have actually escalated.

Why do you think the end of the current party system is bad? Why would the GOP fracturing not be a good thing?

I think it’s inevitable, if I’m looking at it from my local level.

We have the RINO party, the boomers, warmongers, AIPAC and Mormons who have held seats for decades and only win because nobody cares about politics and there’s a whole underground network of the good ole boys.

The RINO lites, these were the ones that told us they would fight the RINOs during Trumps first run, and are now noticeably wealthier and sold out to one lobbyist or another, or 10 but for certainty to AIPAC. They call themself MAGA, hold prayer rallies for Israel and have at least one back the blue flag.

The average Republican who votes party line in the Presidential election but can’t tell you who your attorney general or sheriff are. They will cheer in the patriot act and hate speech laws, because it keeps them safer.

The Religious Right. Who knows what the fuck they’re about, except money, bringing in more illegals and refugees, wanting Israel to control our Government and letting the LGBTQ and Immorality take over their religions. I guess the Catholics really like kissing filthy Muslim feet and worry about climate change, the trannies being genocided and some block of ice.

The far-right. Anyone who believes men can’t be women, worry about illegal immigration and worry about school bonds and levies.

Libertarians. They want to legalize sex work, open borders, because no human is illegal, lower the age of consent to 14 and legalize all drugs. But because they believe in no government, they get thrown on the right. No government and ACAB is close to small government, and no police is the same as only constitutionally legal elected and deputized Sheriffs, right?

Then there’s the rest of us. I don’t know what I’m suppose to be. I thought I was Conservative but now we welcome democrats that wanted to take our kids or kill us last week, trannies, homosexuals having test tube babies, paid for and birthed by women used like brood mares and active whores with forehead tattoos that host a yearly slutwalk and help provide children abortions and puberty blockers. And never forget, Elon Musk, without him, many of these people in “influencer” or political power wouldn’t have been given the time of day. Elon who wants to replace us and impregnate every low value, almost smart, almost pretty, never moral, woman and leave them to raise their booger eating or tranny children themselves.

The Republican Party was in serious trouble 20 years ago. We’re actively fracturing now. It’s not sustainable to have this many vastly different ideologies in one party. The rule is 80/20. I agree with some Democrats as much as I do many (self titled) Republican and their leaders.
Why are you gay? Be straight; to do so never mention stickers in this context again.
I'm a woman. But we pretend I’m not on this site, because some men don’t believe women are on the internet.

Watching retards actually parrot the "NYT is biased against dems" on SM after fucking years of that paper bending over backwards for them is fucking amazing. The second you don't give these people what they want they will gladly throw out years of support.
What's even better about it is that the NYT probably did bend backwards to cook the numbers as much as they could to give them a 2 point favorability (iirc it was 45 against to 47 for shutting down, I might of flipped it but either way, putting the topic within two points) with Democrats, hell the ~60% opposed to the shut down in independents might have been cooked to be lower too.

And they are still getting drug through the mud for it.

Whatever neoliberals infiltrate, they subvert on behalf of their totalitarian ideology. Where those creatures hold sway, musicals aren’t about music; they are about shitlibbery (archive):
1759595563606.png
Climate change might not be the first thing that comes to mind to break out into song and dance about — but it’s the theme of a new youth-led musical called Dear Everything. The show hits the stage on Sunday at the Miami Beach Bandshell, with the aim of inspiring action through music and storytelling. …

It centers on a struggling farmer and her daughter, who is consumed by fears of climate change. The daughter finds peace in a beloved town-owned forest – that is, until a corporation threatens to buy and destroy it.
1759595710193.png

Corporations are mean to the climate. That’s why socialism needs to be imposed upon humanity. When that happens, the weather will be perfect all the time.

The author calls herself “V.” Some might remember her as Eve Ensler, author of The Vagina Monologues.

Feminism is passé, now that it has been subordinated to transsexualism (See: Beauty Parlour). So Ensler jumped to climate hysteria. But that has been wearing thin too. To stay at the vanguard of neoliberalism, she ought to do a play extolling the virtues of Zionism or promoting the assassination of non-shitlibs.

Joy Reid is correct when she says that white people stole every good idea from a black person, but she's lying by omission by not telling you the black person she's referring to is named Yakub.

Tricknology at its worst.

The Republican Party is very healthy. They have lots of money, they have control in the majority of states, and in states they don’t control, they usually have at least a governor or legislature. They have solid power at the Federal level for now, and even if they lose it, they will remain relevant as they have a lot of ground support.

I think what you’re seeing is more of an effect of the Republicans gaining more power and becoming more of a big tent party. Big tent parties don’t necessarily collapse. The LDP has remained in power in Japan for virtually forever. However we do see primaries becoming more important and more of the relevant election when this happens.

The Democrats are now transforming into a more narrow ideological party. The Democrats used to be a big tent party for everyone. It had the labor angle, the technocratic angle, the progressive angle, etc. Now it seems that the labor angle is entirely evaporated, and the technocratic angle is deemphasized. It’s all progressivism, and since progressivism is only popular in larger cities, we have been seeing the Democrats lose geographic presence all over the country. This doesn’t mean they’re irrelevant, but are they much less broadly appealing than they were before, and a different strategy will be used by them to achieve power.

I guess people in thread don't remember how Vance was anti-Trump when he was trying to hock his book back in 2016.
There were lots of good reasons to be anti-Trump at the time which I would mostly sum up as, "It didn't look like he actually had any chance to win." All of the negative stuff in his background is a good enough reason to oppose him...if he can't win because of them. Trump proved the doubters wrong and so it makes sense to continue to prioritize winning.

Not technically American news, but since Japan is a key ally... Japan just elected a right wing, Shinzo Abe protege as their Prime Minister. Sounds pretty good for Japanese/American relations and the fight against global Marxism.

Japan's ruling party has just elected Sanae Takaichi as their new leader, setting her up to become the country's first female Prime Minister. Here is what she believes and more about her:

As a hard-line conservative and a member of Japan's largest nationalist organization Nippon Kaigi, she champions nationalist policies. She opposes illegal AND legal immigration, citing cultural & security risks, and pushes strict visa rules to curb overtourism. She believes that immigration to Japan risks destabilizing Japanese society and argues that Japan should stay Japan.

Takaichi opposes same-sex marriage, dual surnames after marriage, government gender equality plans, and female imperial succession, arguing they threaten traditional family structures. Takaichi supports imprisoning those who damage Japan's national flag.... As a China hawk, she supports revising Article 9 (that prohibits Japan from entering armed conflict) for a stronger military, reducing economic reliance on Beijing, and strengthening ties with America. As someone mentored by Shinzo Abe, she carries Shinzo Abe's legacy...

Oh noes! A world without niggers has no crime!

Actually it would've been astronomically funnier if Gunn had decided to go full canon

Earth-X in DC comics is a peaceful utopia where everyone lives in harmony with nature and no pollution, and everyone lives happily and completely fulfilled due to the Nazis winning WW2 and pretty much purging anyone who is a minority.

It is also eventually destroyed by a golem created by Jewish sorcery that genocides the planet

I am not making any of this up, what did DC mean by this?

I apologize if this is out of line as I usually don't post here but I had to share this. I went down a rabbit hole regarding Earth-X in DC comics thanks to Peacemaker and found this very bizarre Swamp Thing comic.
View attachment 7975443

Like every piece of media that fails to satirize Nazis and other racial supremacist groups, it criticizes them by literally making it a utopia by removing everyone who isn't white (???)

View attachment 7975447

In addition apparently Swamp Thing (titular hero btw) is apparently the result of occult Jewish sorcery and proceeds to genocide everyone on the planet.

Again sorry if this is well known or I'm misreading this because this isn't my forte, but lmao what the fuck? I just had to share this with someone, hope it hasn't been covered a million times.

There is never a dull moment in what neoliberals have been turning the USA into. Even children’s baseball is a thrill:

A kids’ baseball coach was leading his team in a pre-game prayer when bullets flew across the Ameripark sports complex, locally known as The Rac, in Katy, Texas.

Players ran as the shots rang out. The team’s coach took a bullet to the shoulder.

Shitlib propaganda platforms NBC and ABC made improbable claims that the gunfire was from hunting or target practice, suggesting that exposing the actual source might undermine preferred narratives.

The sheriff’s department soon arrested Mustafa Mohammad Matalgah, 27, Mahmood Abdelsalam Rababah, 23, and Ahmad Mawed, 21, and charged them with deadly conduct of a firearm, which is a felony.

The Biden legacy continues to unfold:
According to the Department of Homeland Security, Mustafa Mohammad Matalgah was granted U.S. citizenship by the Biden Administration on August 1, 2023, despite prior arrests for drug possession. The DHS also stated that Ahmad Mawed was granted a green card by the Biden Administration in 2021.

This allegedly accidental shooting comes after a spate of political gunplay, including:
  • this week's shooting at an ICE facility in Dallas, where the shooter's ammo was inscribed with "anti-ICE"
  • a man who shouted "Free Palestine" while firing at diners in a New Hampshire country club
  • the assassination of Charlie Kirk
  • a school shooting at a Christian school in Minnesota
For a group of people who hate guns, the violent left really seems to love their guns.

The word is out on the motive of the three shooters, but the pattern of violence is clear: the far left is out of control.

Good thing this happened in Texas. If it had been California, they might have been released the next day. Just ask Anibal Hernandez Santana, who was arrested for shooting up KXTV offices on behalf of Jimmy Kimmel.

This woman is actually more conservative than Abe-kun.
