What makes that questionable is it's something he's done the last couple years when there was absolutely no campaign, and now he's spending campaign money to do shit he does for recreation anyway. So it's not really plausible that this is a legitimate campaign expense.

I'm also surprised how sloppy Frank's work has been in all of this. Either he's not as legally competent as previously thought, or he just doesn't give two shits about John's fake campaign.

Inb4 :optimistic: but part of me wonders if Frank isn't getting tired of his tranny wife's bullshit. At this point he's bankrolled two of her failed business ventures and presumably paid for her surgery as well to the tune of well over half a million dollars. Between that and burning out all his contacts Frankie might just be reaching the limit of what he can tolerate.

But in exchange, he has someone entirely dependent upon him. For all we know, he could just be blowing his spare cash on hookers while his trannydoll plays make believe.
 
I can't wait for John to tell me how easy it would have been to protect computers against the ransom virus. If only they had woke engineers instead of efficient ones.

I can't refute this point. I'm wondering if maybe Frank DOES realize he's in over his head, but he figures he knows enough to do the paperwork for a campaign that's not going anywhere? Or maybe the other posters are right and he's finally like "fuck this shit".

"Fuck this shit" would make sense if it were only John's neck on the line. Unfortunately, if things go all pear-shaped then as campaign treasurer Frank is in for a world of hurt himself. Either he really is that stupid (which I generally doubt, although watching him in that campaign video makes you wonder), or he thinks this is just another one of John's passing fancies which will burn itself out before it does too much damage.

Frank is definitely stupid and/or childlike in a lot of ways but I've always got the impression he's good enough at his job. I mean, Wu has been a lolcow of interest for what, 3 years now? More? And Frank has been the one to hold a steady job that entire time, so I have to imagine he's at least competent.

I'm of the opinion that Frank knows he's probably screwing things up a bit, but he also knows that they're minor mistakes and doesn't care.

Or that all his little fuck-ups will cause drama down the road for John and that's what he's hoping for.

Patent law requires doing a lot of things very precisely, not blowing deadlines, and other shit that, if you get it wrong, you lose millions of dollars worth of someone else's shit and they're not happy about it. I assume he doesn't do that or he wouldn't still have that job, so he has the ability to do very precise, complex legal shit correctly

It's true election law is convoluted and the reporting requirements are a mess that even people who specialize in that area of law fuck up sometimes, but his work here is just outright slovenly, like he doesn't give a shit at all. I don't know how many hours he works, but I can easily imagine someone who does this kind of shit all day more or less saying fuck it about coming home and doing this kind of stuff for a laughable joke of a campaign just so his tranny "wife" can pretend to be relevant.
 
I think frank's betting that the FEC won't bother investigating 50k or so when there's hundreds of politicians out there blowing millions of dollars worth of campaign funds on coke and child prostitutes, he's probably right too honestly.

He got it from a dealer in Reading PA, (within 15 minutes of Shaner's house actually) that specializes in used Euro cars, Audi being their big thing. http://www.mairscontinentalmotors.com/home They could have listed it on Ebay, but I recall seeing a Craigslist ad for this car, and Mair's will occasionally list junkers and project cars there before the send them to auction or junk them out.
 
This bugs me. It's been one of Wu's talking points recently that congress is overstocked with lawyers. Example:

Congress needs more people of different backgrounds—it's so hyper-sampled with lawyers right now. Almost 40 percent of Congress is made up of lawyers. If you have that many people from any profession, it's not going to result in a good base. I want to see more psychologists serving, I want to see more teachers serving, I want to see more police officers serving.

It always annoys me that no one points out that when your job is legislating, a knowledge of the law ought to be a job requisite. No doubt the training in rhetoric helps too. It's like complaining that software engineering is overstaffed with computer science graduates.
