She's a writer and more importantly she's not being performative, the fact that she genuinely has contempt for these people and how they treated her definitely helps make her response read as genuine because it actually is genuine.

I read this in the smuggest Bri'ish accent I can muster and it was really satisfying. HP is fake but the scene of a troll in the girl's bathroom certainly mirrors reality in a very wicked way. J.K. Rowling had such a fucking public beatdown for years that's been heartbreaking as a die hard Harry Potter fan. Honestly as distasteful I've found the flip flopping of "this character is gay" it never detracted from the story, and is somehow made it seem as the trans movements ultimate villain based on the merit of her work that captured the minds and imaginations of billions.

Don't assign malice to stupidity. However Ema had years of this defense and at this point it's hard to see her recent actions as anything but malicious. J.K. is not a criminal or Machiavellian mastermind, but a writer with an extremely rich inner world. Anybody who ever had maladaptive daydreams had experienced world building with story consistency as a escape effort from lifes struggles, and that's why most fans appreciate her work.

With who Ema sided, they do not appreciate meritocracy, but towing the party line and pushing an agenda. The country Rowling lives in, and the US, with China as a honorable mention, is meritocratic. She deserves the wealth she gained form her literary work. She does not deserve her peace to be threatened for the thoughts inside her head, or online, that do not physically hurt anyone but mentally ill body dysmorphic freaks feelings who will sooner threaten to pipe bomb your mailbox than keep their fucking fetish to themselves and their romantic partner.

It's still a shame that the movie screwed this family over in the end. In the book, they gathered together in the end with the victors instead of just cowardly running away. His mum was essentially just protecting her boy. That's basically all lost in the movies. They were presented as sore losers. There are other minute detail that made them to be a lot worse (typical White male villain) than the books.

HP's world building was incredibly shallow. Like, really really shallow. It's not really her fault and we can't judge it by today's higher standards. I think in general a diverse cast of characters is better because it's more relatable to people and that transfers into more profit.

Not really. Even while she talks about how horrible trannies are she still exalts and worships the gays. Something like 50% of her reason for disliking troons is that they oppress the poor homosexuals who just want to buttfuck and spread monkeypox to one another in peace.
