I feel like most of the game recommendations that have been given are just games that the people recommending them personally enjoyed, not games that would actually be good material for the stream in question.

Disco Elysium would be cool, but it's kinda long and convoluted with a lot of easily-overlooked things. It's my second-choice vote after Lost Records: Bloom and Rage, made by the same people that did Life is Strange- but that format may be played-out by now.

Trying to get him to play Balatro? Stellaris? Deadlock? Even if those games are fun to play, I don't think they really fit the vibe.

Disco would be cool because we get to hear Josh politisperg and get Mad at the Video Game and and also make fun of Nick and Ralph the entire time.

Balatro would be good because we get to hear him scream about fucking dudes when he loses. It does seem like more of a Northern Lion sort of game than a Bad at Video Games sort of game though.

Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw and his friend Gabe made a good point during one of their videos: the video game is the third wheel to be made fun of. Second wheel in Josh's case, but the point stands. That's another reason games like Life is Dranks and Dust Born were so good: they have a point to make or story to tell and they do it badly.

The last thing you want the streamer to do is to play a game where they lock in and shut up and not be entertaining unless they're so good that them doing that by itself is entertaining.

Game recommendations like Life is Strange (ish) -

1) As Dusk Falls - 6 chapters (6-7 hours gameplay).
Takes place across a few time periods, changing perspectives and characters. You can get pretty much everyone in the story killed except the mulatto child. I honestly think it'd go well on stream.

2) Road 96 - (7.5 hours gameplay).
Super cringe political commentary. Lots of hitch hiking. Can get shot in the head by a drifter. You play through a few times to finish it but each time is different.

3) Detroit: Become Human (12 hours).
Robot racism simulator.
