Lyle takes himself entirely too seriously and that's why I just can't enjoy his presence in anything. It feels like he can't really take a joke unless it's at the expense of someone else, or if the joke that makes fun of him somehow puffs him up in another way. He just inhales all the joy in every episode he's in like shitty LA Mexican food. Maybe that's why he's El Gordo now.
On the same note, I dumped all of my DDJ-coin now that we're years into them just on their own and they're still doing the same victimized song-and-dance they've been doing for the better part of the last decade. It's just depressing. I was really hoping they'd pull out of it somehow, but I think they're just stuck like this forever. And when I say "pull out of it", I don't mean returning to the channel or something equally stupid. The world does not revolve around an LP channel. I mean just properly moving on and doing the creative stuff they whinge on and on about wanting to do. DD is never gonna get the help he needs for his very apparent BPD and that's unfortunately a big part of that. Sucks to see, because I was unironically running defense for them in this very thread like a year and a half ago or something. At least we got Dominoid??
 
I don’t usually get that irritated by Cory. But him autistically screeching some of the most dogshit advice on a very easy tower defense game makes these episodes unwatchable.
 
I've never played PvZ so maybe it gets harder later but it's kind of funny to watch them (mostly Cory) sperg out about strategy and proper placement just for Chris to place shit totally randomly and win the level without any issues.

Still kinda weird they didn't do dark souls 3 with Cory and Adam since the series they did of the first two seemed to do pretty well and Cory seemed enthusiastic to be the one playing since Chris doesn't like 3

it's funny because cory's strategy regardless of what he says is the dumbest shit. i used to do 2 rows of sunflowers in the back and peashooters of a specific kind in the next. cory, per usual, doesn't know what he's on about and seeing chris and dave put shit wherever is both funny and slightly irritating too. i cant

His boyfriend is a troon so yeah, just a whiny annoying autist. I can't watch any episode he's in if he's talking for more than 20% of it, so pretty much every episode he's in especially recently.

I like him well enough in Oneyplays, and I even liked his Pregame Discharge series. But damn near everything else he's either done or been involved with has been fucking terrible. Definitely the worst creative of the group, a group with Corey in it.
