DHS has corrected their statement. Only one of the victims is, at this time, dead. The other two still remain in critical condition.

Three people were injured at an ICE facility in Dallas as cops launched an urgent manhunt for a suspected sniper.

The situation unfolded at the Texas facility around 7am on Wednesday morning, with police sources telling WFAA that they are also investigating the possibility of multiple shooters.

Shortly after multiple people were wounded in the shooting, a suspected gunman was found shot on the roof of a nearby immigration attorney's office.

Images showed a large police presence descended on the scene.

The ICE facility has been frequently targeted by pro-immigration demonstrators in recent months.

This is a developing story and will be updated as information is confirmed.

WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR AS OF 3:30PM EST of 09-24-25:
  • Shooter is confirmed to be 29 year old Joshua Jahn. This picture is a mugshot from a 2015 arrest for mairjuana possession in Collin county Texas.

  • Around 6:30 AM, Dallas time, Jahn climbed to the roof of a building opposite of the parking lot side of an ICE detention facility.
  • Around 6:40 AM, using an older style rifle that takes stripper clips, Jahn begins shooting indiscriminately into the building and possibly transport vans. Number of shots is rumored to be around 20 but has not been confirmed at the time of this writing.
  • Jahn manages to strike 3 victims with his blind firing. All three are ICE detainees, meaning they are illegals getting ready to be sent back to where ever they came from.
  • Shortly after, it's unknown exactly how long, Jahn is approached by ICE agents and shoots himself in the head. There are photos of a dead man on a roof with a partially exploded head that is rumored to be him but has not been officiated yet. It's not known at this time if Jahn was in the same building he took the shots from when he killed himself or if he made it to another building.
  • 2 of his victims are pronounced dead. 1 is still listed in critical condition. All of this is reporting from the Department of Homeland Security.
  • Kash Patel tweets out a picture of a found and unused stripper clip with ammo used by the shooter. One of the casings has written on it in Sharpie or some kind of marker "ANTI-ICE". There are no other markings or messages that we have been told so far.

I mentioned it earlier and I don't think it's been documented here yet. This is the car that was next to the stairs that was right under where Jahn most likely took his shot. There's also the thing about nuclear fallout that looks like it was taped to the side.

As I was writing this I realized that I don't know if anything's been confirmed about the car. I looked and according to the NY Post, the feds believe that this is his car. It seems like this should be something pretty easy for them to confirm.

In the event of a theortical civil war, that market would begin opening quite rapidly. They'd be better off importing bulk explosives ingredients if they wanted more bang for their buck, though. US alread has plenty of National Guard and Army Reserve depots with plenty of M249s and M240s that would be raided within a week.

An AR-15 with an FRT isn't going to be an effective SAW like a purpose built machine gun will. At best you're making M27 IAR at home, which still isn't putting down enough volume of fire to fill an M249 or M240's shoes.

My guess is that he had no idea who he had hit, or if he had hit anyone at all, before he popped his melon.

I'm guessing the reason why he hit three beaners is because they were locked up in the back of the van(s), and they were trapped like rats when he targeted the vans, while the ICE officers heard the shots, and scrambled for cover inside the building. I seriously doubt the beaners in the van were visible to him either before, or after, the shooting, what with the iron sights.

I'm hoping that he's in Hell right now and Satan is laughing his ass off as he explains it to him-

"You managed to hit 3 wetbacks, zero ICE agents, and yourself. Fancy shootin', Tex. Have fun burning in the lake of fire for eternity."

I doubt we will ever see any real issues with drones, mortars, or anything explosive. The government learned it's lesson after Oklahoma and they track all explosives and explosive precursors to an unimaginable level. Explosives in some states only require a legal ID that says you're 18 and is allowed for gopher removal and some demolition.
Its just the average joe isnt a chemist who knows how to synthesize plastiqe explosives from everyday cleaning supplies and the EOD guys they train are kept on a pretty tight watch list.
Even post 911 and Timothy McVeigh you'll be surprised how much stuff still slips through the cracks and is only caught by sheer dumb luck or a nosy neighbor or a cop who issues a warrant over something assainine like parking tickets or bounced checks.
The main reason we're not seeing more deadly terrorism is due to the fact the security state in place works. Local PD will stumble upon a bomb factory serving an eviction notice or they will see the dumbest peolle try to set off ieds.
