Honestly, him saying the game is bad doesn't convince me anymore. Anyone would hate a game if they felt forced to power through it even after they got tired and want to put it down for the day. I myself hated my time with games I now like because I marathoned them in a night. Does he lack the insight to see that?

I agree he’s not good at games but it’s exacerbated by his decision that if doesn’t like the game he doesn’t try to play it well. He doesn’t understand—or just doesn’t care—that shitty play makes a bad game even worse, unless there’s humor being found (which he cannot do).

All that said, SHf is truly awful and I am surprised that Konami would cheapen the franchise with it.

It wasn't always like this though. Before Blue Archive, most of the freaks would publicly play Honkai Impact 3rd and Fate: Grand Order on their phones (and if they had a laptop, they would play Kantai Collection). By 2016, a large slew of new gachaslop came in the phones, that being Girls Frontline, Arknights (furryshit) and Azur Lane, the latter of which is more popular for lolishitters. Blue Archive started gaining massive steam overseas in 2020 and beyond, guess what year was 2020 known for?

If your answer/s was the pandemic and two of the videogame equivalent of the antichrists (Genshin Impact and The Last of Us Part II), then you are correct. That alone was the perfect storm for Blue Archive's popularity, especially in Asia in general.
 
I love it; He's triggered by Memory Runner clipping his channel and making money off the stream highlights lmao. He's not willing to put in the effort for such stuff but he'd be damned if someone were to make money off his lazy content.

And the thing about MR titling the videos the way he does: Lots of clipping channels just do that. The guy has a huuuuge chip on his shoulder.

I do appreciate the 1960s Japan setting where the country was trying to pick itself up after the war; More games should work with this. The game definitely didn't have one vision from the start, lots of other minds meddled with it.

The game is not simply bad, it's terrible, and the combat is unfelted ass. It's so bad in fact, i pirated it and i want a refund.

I agree with that sentiment, but at the same time I've ran through games in a single afternoon or even a day or two because I enjoyed those. The rushing isn't the issue. Outlets like IGN and others used to have dedicated "journalists" to cover different genres. It meant that the game was given a fair shake by someone familiar, but also a 9/10 of this or that genre I don't care, meanwhile another of the same score I would adore which rendered scoring useless. Some gaming channels do learn to focus on their niche but Synth hasn't yet. If anything, his niche is stuff he hates.

Synth is implying that he’s “going to do something about it” if Memory Runner doesn’t stop "stealing" his thumbnail and make the title more obvious from a clip channel. Apparently, it’s considered stealing to create highlight videos now if you don't follow Futaman's rule.

Synth is also angry that Memory Runner links the original stream in all his descriptions. If you don’t want others to report you nigger, you should make those streams private.

If boogieman trannies wanted to report Synth, they would just tune up to his stream live and report him anyway, it's not like he doesn't consistently engage in wrongspeech. Privating the streams does nothing and I doubt any tranny cares about him anyway they all moved on

I wonder. I don’t think he wants to confront you head-on. If he strikes you, I hope you can pay a lawyer to take receipt of counter-counter so you can contest his strike without getting doxed. What you do is obvious fair use.

Cry did the same mistake before getting a taste of Futaman's disgusting antisocial hostility. Well, Cry was mistaken from the start because he looked up to him.

I don't know what Memory Runner's angle is, he seems rather neutral and even takes subtle jabs at Synth's character in some vids. Why interact with the main man then? Just keep on clipping and keep your distance, you'll be the bigger man at the end.

Crimson Desert looks promising, it reminds me a lot of Dragon's Dogma (and I really want a Dragon's Dogma clone after being extremely disappointed by DD2)

The man makes 7k a month, why doesn't he take a tiny fraction of that and hire Memory Runner as his channel editor?

Lots of YouTubers do that. I think Skillup's editor was originally a clipper.
